Chela serves up unbeatable al pastor tacos that will transport you to the streets of Mexico City. With tender pork and zesty salsa, each bite is a delight. Plus, their prices are affordable, making it accessible to all. Don't miss out on their impressive bar program, featuring a wide selection of tequilas and mezcals. Chela is the perfect spot for delicious food and drinks without breaking the bank.

Went on 4/6 at 715 pm. Was told by the very rude hostage that there was a table for 4 but it was reserved for 9pm. We can have it as long we done by then. Walked out she left a table of 4 unoccupied for 11/2 hours. Very bad service and needless to say will never eat there.

My family and I had brunch today on Easter Sunday for a large group. We arrived and were seated ahead of time to the back room, and immediately attended to. For a large party of 11 people, we had one waitress taking our order to perfection. She made suggestions, was patient, pleasant, and other staff checked on us regularly. The food was amazing and the brunch menu and drinks did not disappoint. I will definitely be back again soon!

Súper slow service at lunchtime. The menu is not too special, it was much better a few years ago.

Wanted a great quality, no nonsense authentic Mexican restaurant in Brooklyn and couldn't have chosen a better place for amazing quality food and drinks. Hard to choose from such a well put together menu but had the best birria tacos, fish tacos and Margaritas that we've ever tried on the east coast. Couldn't recommend more highly.Vegetarian options: As a vegetarian there were so many options

I say this as a mom with a toddler at prime brunch. Chela was incredibly accommodating to our little one. The drinks were excellent including the Michelada (and I order one whenever I see one on the menu). The food was well executed with identifiably quality ingredients. If I lived closer I’d be a regular.

I followed some reviews here and avoided certain dishes, as a result, I was satisfied with my night with my friend! Services were great, could be pricy but the portion of the main dish was huge.I highly recommend the ?✨Pollo En Mole Rojo which was braised chicken in chef’s sauce. The meat was soft, melt-in-mouth, and juicy. The sauce was rich, smoky! The ?Arabic taco had pork meat on zaatar pita which was one that’s kinda unique in the taco section. The meat was slightly hard but tasted great. Slightly sweet with refreshing toppings. My friend who is pescetarian had three tacos: shrimp, fish, and vegan. She was satisfied with them as well.Last, the dessert, we had Tres Leches cake. Really a big slice! I couldn’t say it is the best one, but still outstanding. Their cake was on the solid side. The peach topping did add flavors to it.

Not as good as I expected. To expensive for what’s served. Not looking forward to get food from there again.

Mostly a good dinner but there was an avocado stem in our guacamole and biting into that was pretty unpleasant.

I was exiting about to try this restaurant for a long time but I never had the time. But today I was working around there and I took the chance i make the reservation.I saw on their page that is authentic Mexican flavors that make it attractive, but is all the oposite I ordered Carne Asada , and it come with French Fries , the steak has not Mexican flavors at all you can find it at any American Restaurant with better flavor but has nothing to do with Carne Asada . The flan was good but I had betters flans . Prices are ver high for the quality of the food. Very disappointing if you really want to try authentic Mexican Flavors is other better restaurants out there. Not recommending for Mexican Restaurant.
