The service was incredibly rude. They were very condescending towards us simply because I asked if we could pull up one extra chair. I was going with my girlfriend, but my mom was in town. We were told the next table for 3 would be available only hours later.

I was told months in advanced that I would be able to order pancakes at the time of my reservation. I had reservations here for my birthday and I was so excited to have my birthday dinner here. I called beforehand and when I got there they told me the one thing I wanted from the menu wasn’t available. The staff was incredibly rude and didn’t try to accommodate my situation what so ever. I was incredibly upset, this situation ruined my entire birthday. Never will I ever support this business again.

Chez Ma Tante in NYC did not disappoint! The cured smoked salmon was incredible – perfectly balanced and flavorful. And the service was just as impressive. Anna took great care of us, making the experience even more memorable. Amazing food, amazing service – can’t wait to come back

I came to this restaurant with high hopes and great anticipation. Unfortunately, it was underwhelming. When my pancakes arrived, I knew they were going to be underwhelming. They looked like the first ones off the heat that should be thrown away. Moreover, they were too greasy.
Our waiter wasn't attentive. I asked for coffee with milk, and my cousin asked for a glass of milk. He brought coffee and my cousin's milk, but not the milk for my coffee. After not receiving the milk, I used some of my cousin's. It was brought to his attention that I didn't get the milk when I requested a spoon. He never came by to check on us or refill my coffee cup.
We all have bad days. This could have been one for our waiter. I want to believe it gets better.
As for the food, there was a vast difference in the appearance of the pancakes at our table and the pancakes at the table next to us; nevertheless, enough transpired today for me to conclude that I will not patronize this establishment again.

Heard about their Pancakes , so we decided to take the ride from LI to Brooklyn . This Sunday Afternoon with no reservation , we had to wait about 30 mins for a bar table. Food was delicious , I liked the biscuit and gravy . Pancakes were okay , I liked other things more. Definitely on the pricey side .

If you haven't made a reservation, open run is required. Egg Sandwich Jeonmattaeng However, the payment was made twice so I am writing a complaint email.
Service was good! Bartender was nice! I didn’t like the pancakes. It was over fried and greasy. It didn’t feel like it was well balanced. The pancake has a buttery taste, along with the fried texture, plus the butter on top.. was too much for me. It needed a break or a contrast. Like even some simple drizzle of sauce on top to give it a taste other than butter would’ve been great! The syrup didn’t add enough flavor to it.

First time visiting Chez Ma Tante and we loved every bit of it. From appetizer, to the drinks, to dinner and dessert, each was delicious. In fact, when leaving someone commented it may have been the best meal they have ever had, and everyone agreed. Make sure to get the pate and the mule (best cocktail I've ever tasted!). Finally, the chocolate cake is gluten free, and is absolute heaven.
The service was perfect. Attentive, friendly, and knew the menu line it was her favorite thing to talk about. Thank you for a great evening, CMT.

Service was appalling. It took 25 minutes from the time my order was taken (I was on my own) for the pancakes and breakfast sausage to come out. My coffee was served promptly, tho, ensuring it would be cold by the time the food arrived. Inexplicably, the two tables next to mine received their food before me (including pancakes) despite placing their orders several minutes after me.
The pancakes were okay, but nothing out of this world. The breakfast sausage was more memorable. Neither is worth the 25 minute wait.

Terrible service. Manager did not honor our reservation, there were 3 open tables but told us to wait 45 mins for next available table. Went to Stowaway instead, just a short walk away. 10/10

Even though I went at opening time on Saturday morning, the line was long. I went as a walk-in without a reservation, but luckily I got in without waiting. Still, I recommend making a reservation! The pancake was chewy on the outside and the inside. It tasted just like a savory pancake, but the texture was unique and good :) The burger sandwich was also just ordinary.
