Yea, the pancakes lived up to the hype. But everything else was also best in class. On paper, menu seems meh, but each dish is better than any previous version I’ve had! Country pate, falafel, quiche…No complaints! I only wish they would open a downtown Manhattan outpost. Isn’t it about time???
this has been one of my favorite restaurants over the years. however I visited recently and found that I could no longer have the same full experience here as a Celiac/gluten-allergy person because of wheat cross contamination in the shared fryer (this is sadly a new development after the past few years of having a gluten-free fryer). basically I was only able to order a skate fish dish (which was super delicious) and there was zero options for carbs… so I had to be keto unfortunately...
