I order a “lamb gyro” (sandwich) last week and loved it so because I was in the neighborhood I went back for it. This time I asked for a Lamb gyro with fries. The woman at the counter asked if it was a platter and I was unsure because under the specialities it only says “Lamb gyro with Greek salad and rice or fries.” She kept repeating “platter” impatiently so I pointed to the item and she says “that’s the lamb gyro with fries”. This place is just as advertised. Quick and simple food done very well, for a great price. I got the 1/2 chicken combo with Greek lemon potatoes. Everything was solid, the chicken was nicely cooked and juicy with a classic rotisserie flavor. The lemon flavor came though nicely on the potatoes.
