I must say that this place surprised me (in a good way). It didn't look like it was anything to write home about but the service was great. During these cold days the bartender offered me one of their special drinks and it was so nice to drink a warm whisky cocktail.
Now, tacos. They are really really really good. I had carnitas and chorizo and would recommend both. No need to go all the way down to Bushwick imo.
I must give this place a 5/5 in terms of their offerings. Environment is just similar to any other bar

The tacos were really bad and almost no meat, I remember these used to be really good. Also got a tostada for $10 that was just a tortilla the same size as the taco but with beans and guacamole. The drinks are good, just don’t eat here.

Really used to love Chilos — unfortunately, the quality of the food has really dropped in the last few years. Still a great spot to grab a drink and sit outside, but the taco quality is mid at best.

We love Chilo's- we've been going there since it opened in 2015. Most importantly for us, the food is delicious- we're fans of the duck taco (sooo good), the smoked beef taco, the tortas, and of course, the frozen margaritas! Chip and the rest of the crew are super friendly, and the relaxed vibe there is so welcoming. When the weather is nice, the open patio area is absolutely the place to be. We are so lucky to have this place in the neighborhood!
Dietary restrictions: They are very responsive to food allergies
Kid-friendliness: The atmosphere is pretty low-key, so it's pretty accepting of small kids and their bit of chaos
One of the best bars in Bedstuy. Bartender is so beyond sweet. Love the outdoor space, and the tacos are solid. They have a taco specials where 3 of their regular tacos get’s you a beer or jarritos on Tuesday and weekends always playing great music too!

I’m a big fan of Chilo’s but I went recently and they changed the steak taco ?? it used to be brisket like but now chunks of steak instead. It doesn’t melt in your mouth like it did when it was brisket form ?

It’s pretty chill in here. Went at like 7 on a Friday and watched it fill up over time. Cool crowd it seemed, I enjoyed a few tacos. I was there on a date which was whatever, felt a little nervous so trouble focusing.
