Good food 🐔 and very clean inside
Just visited the location in Oceanside. A returning customer many times. The prices advertised are incorrect. The wings were doubled the price. When I told manager that I was going to post on social media his response was it’s not going to make a difference.
TL;DR - Want good chicken? Go to Churrasqueira Bairrada ($20 includes rice & fries), and Brasa Rodizio ($18) instead - good food, lower cost, better customer service! -- I usually hesitate to write negative reviews, but today was the last straw. I've been to CC Chicken about 1/2 dozen times now since they opened their Carle Place location. Like other reviewers have mentioned, their quality is hit or miss, and their customer service is mediocre at best - full details below: > 1. Food being reheated and sold as 'fresh': Albeit this is only with 1 data point out of eating there about 6 times, I can personally attest to this as some of my friends & I have suspected getting food poisoning from this place. Our group ate their food as a part of dinner, and only after a few days later did we converse later and realize that, coincidentally - ALL of us got mildly ill after eating the food - but nothing that a good rest didn't fix. None of us drink alcohol, nor had any other 'outside' food - further doubling our suspicion. > 2. Hidden charges / inaccurate claims: If you place an order via phone, the phone prompt advises to place an order online "for a 5% discount and no additional service charges." This claim is patently false, as there is NO discount, and there is an added "Acceptance Fee" for ordering online. Even if one calls the order in, the acceptance fee still applies. > 3. Today's problem was the last straw. I placed an online order for a regular meal with (2) sides, plus the (2) included sauces. I picked up the items, arrived home, started eating, and then my gf asked where the sauces are - and they were missing. I've worked in food service before, and can understand mistakes happen. So, I proceeded to call the location to ask for a future credit on more sauces, as I had no interest in driving back for 2 measly sauces. The gentleman that I spoke with required that "I find the receipt so that he can get this taken care of," while I was put on hold so that he can 'speak with the manager.' The bag was already tossed, so I had to dig it out from the garbage can. (This frankly didn't make sense to me as it was an online order - don't they have digital POS records? Was this just a stall tactic to take up time?... Or, are they zapping / adjusting their sales records to evade paying sales taxes?) After a ~5 minute wait, it turns out that the receipt wasn't needed after all, but I was told by the gentleman on the phone that "the manager said that he make a 1-time exception for the extra sauces but it wouldn't be done again again in the future." Pardon me, but instead of getting an apology for THEIR MISTAKE, I'm accused of being a liar?! Wow - great customer service! I know most people don't care much for words, but I personally consider that an insult to my honor. In the end, I brought back the uneaten food (90% of it was unconsumed), and asked to speak with the manager. In the manager's defense, he seemed somewhat confused at best when I brought my story up, so I suspect either: - 1. his employee lied and made up a story about what he/the manager said (likely what happened), or... - 2. the manager just doesn't care (less likely based on his body language in person, but still possible) In either scenario, it seems to be congruent with what other negative reviewers have mentioned about their customer service. In the end, I politely asked for my money back, and manager was also very polite and apologetic, but between all of the other comparably priced (and often less expensive) chicken options available in the area - such as Churrasqueira Bairrada ($20 includes rice & fries), and Brasa Rodizio ($18) - I would definitely recommend these other options for a better experience.
My wife And I went there yesterday 1/11 2022 food was good but help is very unprofessional my wife and I Ordered a half of chicken comes with two sides I asked if I can have it well done for my order ok Receive the food and proceeded to tables to eat and my wife asked me if I ordered something else I said no so She went up to the counter and ask the girl why there is there a price difference the girl said I had Ordered dark meat I never Mentioned dark meat all I asked for was well done and for some Reason they had charged me $7 more for dark meat I had started to eat so they won’t Refund me the difference back this was not my fault the girl Manager was very rude and Unprofessional need a lot better Customer service

What a terrible place. This is what they served me looking exactly like this as a half chicken. Don’t buy there!Giving kosher establishments a bad image!
(Translated by Google) We are going to give a real Rating to the skinny chimi .. The worst quipes and the worst empanadas that I have ever tasted (The quipes half raw and without meat and the raw empanadas) ... I can give the chimichurri a 5 out of 10 ( Compared to the diparates that one gets in the area that sometimes not even chimichurri are if not Hamburgers, these are more or less good) .. The women who are there are relatively attentive but the quality of the food needs to improve a lot.(Original)Vamos a darle un Rating real al chimi de la flaca..
it used to be a good deal now it is a nickel and dime operation. They have raised prices. They charge 4 percent for using a credit card. They charge for cutlery. what's next?

Fast food burger food. Love the faux cheese option and non dairy ice cream shakes. Fries were home cut. Fair prices, clean, nice place.
