Always on point. They know exactly who it is when I order which is a nice feeling. Simple eatery with kind staff and the patrons have been good energy too. It’s a vibe. My go to is the Mole Poblano, Torta Chinantla, and chiles rellenos.

I’ve been going here with my friends for years growing up. Super flavorful meals at an affordable price. Came in recently and prices are still quite reasonable. Got a Molcajete and a Mango Agua Fresca. Pop in and support your local Businesses!!
Got food poisoning and they gave us rotten guacamole that was nuclear green. It was very bubbly (both the food and my stomach after). 14 bucks for chips salsa and guacamole is insane just go to chipotle at this point.

Delicious
Got the enchiladas and tostadas. Fantastic! Some of the best Mexican food I’ve had in New York.
There are certain times in life when you experience food that throws you into some memory, a feeling you had in the past . This Milanesa de Pollo Torta sent me back to my trip in Oaxaca in December 2019. I felt so many feelings in each bite I took.
This is by far the best torta I had in nyc. The bread was warm and fluffy and soft and slightly toasted but what made it divine is the side of red salsa (I bought a box of it on my way out) it has this beautiful Smokey flavors . Each bite gives you this earthy flavour of fire - and threw me back to when I was travelling In the sierra norte mountains in Oaxaca hopping between villages on mountain tops that used only fire with no electricity.
The green salsa is also amazing - refreshing and light , after 3-4 bites of the red one you should get a refreshment with the green one. The chicken was fried to perfection, the veggies were fresh, the cheese, the beans - Everything about this torta was divine .
I’ve been eating in this spot for over 12 years and always got the burrito (which is amazing too) and this was my first time getting the torta
This is by far on my top 5 Mexican spots in nyc and I urge anyone to try it

Amazing, authentic place with great food at reasonable prices. Some people say it is unhygienic, I guarantee these people are just going off stereotypes. The kitchen is open and you can see how people prepare the food. It is 100% up to standard and deliciously prepared!
