One of my favorite places now to eat Latino food now in NYC!!!! Visited mast week and had the Frito Mixto and ate every single yuca they had!!! Everything tasted fresh and hand made. Also got the rice and beans with the black pepper beef and chicharrón. My favorite was the black pepper beef. Was so soft and tender. The chicharrón was good but had a lot of fat (chicharrón always has fat lol) for me. The parts of meat were actually really good. For drinks we got the Pandan and it was delicious. Definitely one of the best drinks I’ve had in a while. Will surely pass and eat at this place if around!!! Btw they had Karaoke too if interested!

Delightful karaoke spot with good vibes and great drinks. Also the chips n dip are absolutely out of this world.

Stopped in for dinner and drinks after a show. The place has a cozy yet lively and fun atmosphere. We got the chips and dip, the rice and beans, and the black pepper beef; they were all fantastic. We stuck around for some karaoke, which was a great time. The servers and staff were also very friendly and attentive. We will absolutely be coming back here.

Chino Grande is extremely misleading. The food was neither Chinese nor Puerto Rican no authentic flavors from either culture. The dishes were bland, poorly prepared, and not what’s advertised at all.

On top of that, the service was terrible. Slow, unprofessional, and unwelcoming. Overall, a very disappointing experience from start to finish.

I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for real Chinese or Puerto Rican food.

Came here to celebrate a childhood friends baby shower, and what a lovely space. They reserved the entire restaurant so I was able to walk everywhere freely without typical restaurant hour chaos. Their attention to details was impeccable. The food kept flowing while we all mingled. Everyone loved how delicious everything was. I'm so glad they gave my friends the best experience for such a special and intimate day. Top notch service here. A must visit!

First time at chino grande with a reservation. Small cozy place with a bar and a few tables. Low light, good music and even more amazing food! I had several things from the menu each surprising me. Their take on traditional foods made the experience unique. Personally suggestions; make a reservations as space is limited. Great for drinks and tapas with friends. Good portions were on the smaller side so be prepared to order several dishes. Lastly, priced a bit high for the quantity of food in my opinion.

Chino Grand! You killed it. Went here with a fellow foody after admiring from afar for awhile. Lived up to the hype and then some. Great vibes, food was fantastic, good cocktails. Atmosphere was fun, good place for a hangout or a date. Late night Karaoke looked fun! Can't wait to go back to explore the rest of the menu.

I had a really great meal here! The dishes were satisfying and inventive. The service was great and was very appreciative of how thoughtful they were when it came to my dietary restrictions. Would happily come back!

Came from the Bronx and our table for 4 was not disappointed. To start they have a happy hour from 6-730p, we ordered slutty ceviche, bacalao salad, beef tartare, fried rice, beans, avocado and PORK BELLY and FLAN, all delish!!! The staff was attentive, drinks also on point. Will definitely be back….

This Chinese Latin fusion restaurant was interesting. The mixed drinks were interested and good. The staff was nice and attentive.

The atmosphere is very dark and intimate kind of vibe. Not too much noise. Which is great to chat with friends.

We got a few dishes. The Frito mixto was very good with the fried plantains and whatnot. The ceviche aji verde was great with a big flat fried plantain to scoop up the ceviche. The thrice cooked chicharron was ok. It was way too fatty at certain points where it was hard to swallow the far when it wasn't rendered enough and too much chewing but the flavor was decent. The tres salchichas fried rice was pretty good with the hop chaeng, loganisa and chorizo sausage. The shrimp saltado was decent. We also got the black pepper beef that was decent but a bit too savory and salty

Overall the meal was ok. It felt like some of the dishes was a bit too salty and hit or miss.

This is so different from few years ago when it first opened. It’s basically 黑暗料理 now!!! Pan seared shrimp on fries.. really?

Never coming back again
