Last night, I ordered two items from this establishment: loaded cheese fries and sweet honey ginger wings. I was extremely disappointed.
The loaded cheese fries are marketed as being smothered in cheddar cheese and bacon. However, what I received was completely different—my fries were drenched in American cheese. I have been here a few times, food is great drinks are priced nicely. I brought my sister and her husband from St. Louis there when they were visiting about a week ago. They were amazed by how hard working the owner of this bar was. I have worked as a bartender for years and I could tell this owner is doing the absolute best he can with all off the curve balls Covid has thrown at him. Covid has been rough for all bar owners but NYC has been hit really really hard.
