We’ve both been in Bklyn Heights for decades and Clark’s clearly does something right.
I’ve never experienced it.
The food is good basic diner fare and the space is nice. But the standard of rude service, seemingly with management approval, negates the good.

Brunch was fantastic. From the hot pastrami (made there) to the breakfast dishes everything was done well. The wait was great and we were seated in 10mins even with the restaurant being busy. Wait staff and managers were all great. This is a place that is entirely well run.

This is a cute place but it's surprisingly expensive for what we ordered. It was over $50 for just the two of us and I only ordered pancakes, plus we both only had water to drink, no appetizers and no dessert. I'm assuming the check was correct but I was not offered a receipt.

Unfortunately, most of the stuff we hot was either soggy or just very cold. The steaks were okay. The calamari was not crispy nor hot at all. All of our eggs were very average. I did love the fries though. Service was great and the vibe of the place is sweet. Overall, we were REALLY disappointed with the food.

Expensive and very bad food, in a street corner you'd get a better tasting food. Fries frozen, everything is so processed and really not good. Very poor choice for drinks also, feels like a tourist trap.

Clark's is a favorite restaurant in Brooklyn Heights! Food is always good and the staff work hard to make you comfortable. Excellent grilled chicken plate, eggs benedict or omelets, and relaxing ambience.

Brunch Great service and great food I didn’t post Bruch pics as you know the story on that But if you want a great place to stop off for a wonderful meal then this is for you I love good service and a good attitude We felt welcomed
