A typical Brooklyn restaurant experience. It took us more than 20 minutes to find a parking spot, but we eventually made it. The menu is extensive, offering plenty of options at fairly reasonable prices. The food portions were generous, though nothing particularly remarkable. Overall, a pleasant visit with a clean setting and friendly staff.
After getting to Dumbo very early for the sunrise, it was great to stumble upon this place. We'd planned to do Time Out however so flag we found Clarks instead. We had the Pancakes and French Toast. Both were beautiful. Service very good as well!
First time trying this diner as the queue is always really long once 10am hits. Unfortunately I really disliked my food: scrambled eggs & bacon with 'house potatoes'. The eggs were almost inedible, flat and dry on the outside, slimy and cold on the inside. I wonder if they may have been that liquid egg stuff you can buy, or maybe just bulk made and left under a heat lamp. Either way, did not taste good at all. The potatoes similarly were an odd texture, like mashed...
