New-age take on Mexican food. Server was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. Food certainly caters to the clientele of the area, not necessarily authentic to the culture it comes from. One of the food runners clumsily knocked over our flight of tequila when putting our food on the table, was replaced by server. Restaurant was a bit cold near the door where we were seated. Noted in reservation that it was for a birthday, but no candle included when we ordered dessert. Overall, just fine.
Food is outrageously expensive for the quality and the amount of food you get. If you like fine dining and have a few hundred dollars to spare for dinner, this is the spot for you.

The food was very good! It’s a bit pricier compared to the neighborhood/brooklyn but overall was very happy with the dishes. The different types of mole were really great. The cod was cooked so well. My partner and I ate up the food so quickly we didn’t have a chance to take pictures but the drinks were also unique. I really enjoyed the mezcal Negroni.

An absolute treat of an evening. Creative and unique menu, thoughtful wait staff and an eclectic drink list to top it off. A celiacs/gluten free dream of a restaurant and we can’t wait to come back to enjoy the patio!

This place is a joke, would not recommend. $18 for chips and salsa, $20+ for a single taco, and $50+ for an entree is just absurd for the quality of food here. Most of the food was bland and unoriginal. Servers were impatient and they sent out the wrong entree to one of our friends who then had to wait for the correct meal to come out while everyone else had their food. They sat us on the patio and it smelled like animal urine.

Delicious, flavorful, fresh and gluten free! Each dish made with intention and care, would definitely recommend getting at lease 2 items from each section of the menu, and don't skip desert or the mezcal flights. 100000/10
Our first night out in New York. Amazing food and the best margaritas! The vibe was good as well.
Great flavors

Food was pretty good but not among my favorite spots for Mexican food in the city. Service was super slow.

Very slow, apathetic service. Drinks are good but not an enjoyable meal. Lots of bugs in the outdoor patio as well

I dont normally leave reviews but the portions here are so abysmally small that I need to warn others interested in making a trip here. I can’t remember the last time I spent $200 on a dinner and left still hungry.

I just had dinner with three friends here, and it was an incredibly disappointing experience. Please note I almost never leave a bad review, but I feel compelled to warn other diners about the atmosphere.
When we arrived for our reservation, the table wasn’t ready, so we waited for 5 or so minutes to sit (no big deal). Then, once seated, we ordered drinks, which took 20 minutes to arrive (again, not the end of the world). We weren’t able to put our food order in for 30 minutes, and after an hour, it still hadn’t arrived. We were starving, so we went up to the manager and asked if he could at least send us some chips to hold us over. He didn’t say yes. Instead, he said, “well, let me first check on the status of your order.” 20 minutes later, our food still hadn’t arrived, and he finally sent us chips. He came over to check on our table and asked how we were doing. We were visibly grumpy, but he didn’t seem eager to help. Our food didn’t arrive until nearly two hours after we had arrived. By then, we were all cranky, and the small portions made it hard to enjoy the food.
Then, it came time to pay, and we couldn’t find anyone to take our check. My friend went back up to the manager to ask for the check. She took the opportunity to tell him how frustrated we were by the dining experience. He could not have been less friendly or helpful. He essentially started arguing with her and telling her how much she clearly had enjoyed the food, and that there was nothing he could do to help at that point. We then discussed our experience with the waitress, who was much more empathetic and kind, and ultimately she spoke with manager and he adjusted our bill.
All of us left unhappy, which is obviously the opposite of how you should feel after shelling out a lot of money for a fancy dinner.
I promise, we’re not difficult diners, and I can’t even remember the last time we complained to a manager at a restaurant. I understand that sometimes restaurants are short-staffed, or kitchens get backed up, but at the very least we would expect the manager to be more gracious in the way they handled things.

Really poor service. Our table of four waited for our food for over two hours. When we expressed we were unhappy, the manager was aggressive and combative rather than trying to resolve things in any way (trying to convince us we were, in fact, having a good time — this was news to the group).
I felt the value for money was also poor (e.g., $45 for an entree that had 5 scallops). That said, it was really the lack of care or accountability that made this a regrettable dinner.
