The sea food boils always hit! But what sets this place apart is that they have great service. My last two experiences there were consistently good. The wait staff is kind and attentive even though they are super busy. Just be sure to clarify when ordering what the tipping is like. I believe gratuity is added once you pay for a certain amount. The happy hour is perf after work thumbs ???
Surprisingly, the avocado salad was a stand out menu item.

Claw Daddy’s Brooklyn is a simple spot with a relaxed atmosphere, though I expected a bit more in terms of decor and ambiance. The food was tasty without being overly complicated—the oysters and appetizers were solid, and the drinks were enjoyable. However, I wasn’t too impressed with the alcohol served in a pack, especially for the price.

The main dishes were decent, but the menu can get expensive, particularly if you opt for the seafood selections. On the plus side, the staff was friendly and accommodating. Overall, it’s a good place to grab some seafood, but I wouldn’t necessarily consider it a date-worthy spot.

The staff was very welcoming and accommodating, and the seafood boil was delicious! The only thing I regret is not knowing about this place sooner.

For starters, I found this location by accident because I went down the wrong street. But the universe told me it was the right decision. When I arrived, it was happy hour, and we opted to sit at the bar. Another great decision as the Playlist was on point, and we met José the bartender. He was knowledgeable and attentive, answered any questions we had, and made some excellent recommendations. Ordered the crawfish queso dip, wings, grilled oysters, and the Lychee Mojito adult pouch. Everything was Everything. So delicious I had stomach joy. Thank you José for making our visit special. See you soon!

The grilled oysters were superb! Gumbo was on—I think it was too salty. Our table also got chicken which was not good

The claw daddy sauce tasted different from the one in manhattan. The garlic bread was different as well.

I hate leaving bad reviews for service but this was a rough experience. Saw their happy hour board on the sidewalk and went in on a whim at 6:30, thinking we’d have plenty of time to make it for a 7:00 dinner reservation nearby since we only wanted to order drinks and oysters. Wasn’t busy at all, maybe 4 or 5 tables with people, but it still took 10 minutes for someone to take our order. Even though we got beer and a dozen oysters that should have only taken a few minutes to prepare, we were still waiting after 20 minutes. I asked them to just clear the order because it was already 7 by that point but they said the order was ready. In the end we had to rush through a $35 order in like 2 minutes. Still don’t know why it took so long - there were more employees than customers there. Oysters weren’t bad but were definitely better suited for grilling than raw (big and not very flavorful). Can’t really speak to most of the menu but wouldn’t recommend going in for happy hour, unless you’re prepared to wait … and wait some more.
