A bar for great cocktails and the bartender is amazing, I love the chips with duck fat, and try the mock tails too. Great vibes

I came to Clover Club to try a NYTimes rated best manhattan. Clover offers an impressive and unique variety of cocktails, from frozen to hot drinks. The manhattan was delicious (accompanied by cheese, yum), although a bit sweet. My friend’s espresso martini was superb. The burger was ok. Sexy dark lit venue.

Lively but still intimate, good drinks, and most importantly no gimmicks or trying too hard to be cool. A little pricey for what it is, but otherwise a wonderful, convenient neighborhood spot.

Great bar. The Raisin' Hell and the fries are excellent.

A cool vibe bar in Brooklyn: I quite liked the ambiance of the place, a great place to take a date or for celebration, the bartenders/staff was very cool and chill, and their menu is quite good. Had a Clover Club of course, the Gin raspberry sour classic, quite lovely. Also had the Smoke and Mirrors, a spirit forward bacon washed tequila, smoky and quite unique. Definitely a bar to try, they got all the fundamentals covered.

Clover Club is one of my favorite spots in Brooklyn. The cocktails are amazing, the food is really good, and the atmosphere is always great. The staff are friendly and know what they’re doing.

It’s a perfect place to hang out with friends or grab a drink after work — always a great experience every time I go.

Been before and really enjoyed but today we came in for a reservation we got off the waitlist for an indoor table in the “front room” and they sat us outside which was quite cold. When we asked to move they said it would be a 30 minute wait for indoors so we decided to leave. It was very disappointing to come all this way to not get what we had booked.

Great spot to grab cocktails in the neighborhood. It gets quite busy on the weekends but there’s a reason why. The inside has a nice dark vibe to in and there’s always good music and loud conversations going on. The cocktails are a bit on the pricey side, especially for the okay quality but the vibe definitely makes up for it. Would recommend if you’re in the area and looking to grab a drink.

I hate that I am writing this review for this place, but I think this needed to be stated.

So I really love this place, as I have been coming here to work, relax, dine, and just meet up with friends at times. The staff Monday - Thursdays are absolutely lovely! They are hands down, some of my favorite waitstaff in Brooklyn. They are very nice and actually make you feel comfortable and wanted as a patron - especially if you are a regular. Heck, they even make sure to say hello if they ever see you randomly walking down the street. That’s just how they are. Truly lovely people.

However, this past Friday, I encountered staff that were the complete opposite. Upon inquiring about a table outside when I arrived, there was not even a smile or feeling that I was being welcomed back - I should have taken this as a sign. I am seated outside, in my usual spot, and of course the waitress eventually comes to take my order. Again, no smile, no pleasant demeanor. She just looked unamused, uninterested, and not generally seeming like a nice person. Eventually, when I finish my drink and she had come to check on me, I mentioned I had finished, but that I would likely just stay for a few minutes before getting my check to leave. Without me even asking, she hands me the check. I thought it was so rude - I was actually really upset by this, but didn’t show it. I ask her, would it be ok if I could stay for a few moments, as I had NOT asked for my check yet. She tells me “It’s a Friday night, and they need the tables.” Mind you, there was no one waiting on my particular table. After she forces the check on me, she stands there waiting for my payment. I pay, get up, and she didn’t even try to stop me from leaving. I was truly appalled. I go to busy places all the time, I have never had someone hand me check without me asking for it like this. It’s like you are being forced to sign your check and leave. Even if others would have needed a table, I, like every other restaurant patron, can wait, put my name on a waitlist, come back…like regular people do. There is never a need to make your patrons feel uncomfortable and force them to leave. It’s extremely rude. I love this place, but I do not recommend going on a Friday night, unless you are looking to be upset.

Waited an obscene amount of time to be told the menu I was given was no longer being served and then given another menu which was also not being served. No one seemed to care and the staff were all very inattentive. As a long time Carroll gardens resident who has been to many of the restaurants and bars on smith street this is by far the worst one. I will be taking my business elsewhere. Great atmosphere, I wish everything else was on par.

So where do I start? We walked in at 3:55. They told us live music will be for another half hour so we chose our seating based off that. There was no live music after we arrived… they gave us menus as we sat down. Nobody came up to us for another 15 minutes, at which point we were asked what drinks we’d like to order, so we ordered. We tried ordering food as well but were told that the brunch menu is no longer being served. Ok, no problem… we were then given the dinner menus. 5 minutes later she comes back to ask us what drinks we wanted again because she forgot to put them in… and turns out those drinks are no longer being served either. At this point, we were also told that the dinner menu u is not yet being served. We ordered new drinks from the menu that were available. They were initially delivered to the wrong table. It was 4:45 when we finally asked for the bill… then asked again another 5 minutes later… and for a third time another 5 minutes later. Left much hungrier than we arrived, and no longer in a good mood. Pretty ambiance though. Will not be returning. Sevilla across the street was wonderful.

Came in for a couple cocktails. The cocktails were great and the service was very good too. Ended up having Mac and cheese among other lite bites. The cocktails is what you come for.
