They charge 50 cents for milk if you order online. Milk in your coffee is not an option. You have to pay extra for a drop of milk. I’m so sure they don’t charge for milk in-person. I’ve been ordering from them for years and never had this issue. This is so ridiculous.

Tourist trap. Sandwiches as thin as the owner’s amount of respect for his customers. See the picture

Corto Brooklyn is one of my favorite coffee spots!

The Severini focaccia🤤🥖🍳🍅🥑🐖 with a cappuccino (I ask for a bit of honey) is my go-to combo — so delicious. ($25 approx per person: coffee and sandwich)

It does get busy, but it’s absolutely worth the wait. I especially love sitting outside on the sidewalk terrace, it makes the experience even better. A true neighborhood gem!

Update: we almost go every weekend or every other weekend to Corto. This time I tried their frozen yogurt. As a frozen yogurt fanatic. We did not like it. It was kind of heavy? But watery too? Not quite a fan.

Cappuccinos on the other hand 🥰🥰🥰yummmmyyyyyy!

I want to reiterate concerns about to-go cups. There are so many staff at this cafe and the prices are high- why isn’t there a dishwasher working full time? It’s just lazy and cultural to have these constant to-go cups. Why are we tipping? It’s not like the staff are bussing tables. Also I have asked for a ceramic cup and been ignored, at least twice.

The quality of the coffee is average. A latte should not be so big, and the milk is frothed with little effort. The americanos are disgusting! I wish it was much less water, with the shot poured on after to preserve the crema. The only reason I get coffee with milk here is because the black coffee is so bad.

I do love the food- the severini is the best sandwich I’ve had at a cafe in New York. And the cafe itself is beautiful. The owner is great. The staff could be a bit more assertive and friendly around the register. The main issue is the quality of the coffee and the sheer amount of waste

Gotta stop skimping on the quantity of espresso you add in your coffee. Your prices don’t warrant such poor coffee.

Love this place. Best sandwiches served on thin focaccia bread, delicious coffee always fresh, and the owner is almost always there which shows how much he cares!

The cashier with the blue eyes is so lovely, just the most wonderful service!
The sandwiches are fantastic but meat-heavy. And specifically pork-heavy. I wish they had more veg or tuna or chicken options.
The bundt cake was really good and the ambience is nice. Comfortable and not stuffy.
