My friend and I went out for brunch and stopped by Couleur Café. As usual, I like to ask the waiter for recommendations and I’ll more often than not go with it. They recommended the Organic lamb merguez sausage. It was delicious and the first time I ever tried lamb sausage. The fries were crisp, salad was yummy and eggs were good. It’s a rather small and cozy place. I hope to be back again someday.

Very charming cafe, has the quintessential charm and easy to access.
The staff was exceptional - attentive and collaborative. The atmosphere was very comfortable.
The food , for the price point, left much to desire. A good menu with small selections.
Sandwiches were good, nice bread choices and meat, cheese and fresh legumes .
Breakfast was okay. Quiches have good flavor but are on the smaller size for the cost. Great for a 20$ snack if you're feeling cute.
Eggs are hit and miss. Fried eggs haven't been cooked correctly over the 5 visits. Poached eggs are nice.
It's a trade off all and all.
For a coffee, a chat and a small bite, it fits the bill.
If you're hungry, you might be better off at a Bodega.
Cute cafe, quite nice atmosphere although noisy. However, very small and quite dry nutella donut… Barely decent pain au chocolat, Hot chocolate has no cocoa taste... I do not recommend, all this for a fairly high price…

Would not recommend: the crepes. Had both the berry and tomato mozarella crepe. The berry crepe is filled with a berry compote, and skimps on fresh fruit. It wasn’t the fresh and light meal I was hoping for. The crepe itself was soggy. For $18, I was disappointed.
Would recommend: the chicken sandwich. Very fresh and flavorful, nice bread and fresh greens. I’m sure their other sandwiches and salads are good and worth the menu price.

I recently had brunch at Couleur cafe and I must say, the food here is consistently excellent. The coffee is fantastic, but the matcha is even better—definitely a must-try. The almond croissant was delicious as always, and this time I tried the kale salad, which was surprisingly good—fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. The portions are generally adequate, but I did find the avocado toast to be a bit too small for its price. Despite that, I'll definitely keep coming back for brunch. The overall quality and atmosphere make it a great spot for a relaxing meal.

This cafe is really qauint with a nice vibe and amazing croissant's and baugettes but it is a bit overpriced as things are like double what they should be. When I went last I shared a salad and it was somthing like 18$ for just a tiny bit of vegtables and some other things. Make it cheaper.
Vegetarian options: There a good amount of vegatarian options for people who dont eat meat.

I had a horrible experience at this restaurant and will never support this establishment again. Firstly, the waitress with the green hair treated me and my friend terribly. She was very unpleasant and had a grumpy disposition with us. She walked away without taking my order and gave me the wrong drink. Additionally, when my friend did not like her drink, she was unkind to her. Also, instead of putting my bowl on the table, she gave me my bowl from the corridor as if I was doing her a favor. I had to ask another waiter for more dressing because she never returned to check on our table. I noticed the difference in treatment because she did not treat the other patron sitting right next to us the same way who was Caucasian. To add insult to injury, my friend sent her dish back. Instead of saying “no problem” or inquiring about what could have been done to improve the dish, the waitress asks unnecessary questions about the experience. She never treated the next customer with such hostility and aggression. Additionally, when I tried to let the other server know how distasteful her service was towards us, he ignored it and did not apologize for her nastiness. I would advise African Americans not to support this establishment. As her behavior was terrible and uncalled for. Hopefully, this young woman will treat others of different races better. As you should not judge a book by its cover, every human deserves to be treated well, no matter their creed, color, race, or background.

I can’t say enough about this place. Very high quality food, excellent service, and amazing atmosphere. Couleur Cafe isn’t cheap, but the quality of the food is actually worth the price (hard to say about most places). This is our go-to place in the neighborhood if we are looking to treat ourselves.
