I order the vegan delight under the signature lox menu. After eating half my bagel, I felt the vegan lox was “too real” and went to ask and learned that it’s actual lox. DONT CALL IT A VEGAN DELIGHT IF ITS NOT REALLY VEGAN! I left so frustrated and disappointed, but conflicted because the bagel and vegan tofu spread were great 😩😭

Their French toast bagel with Nutella cream cheese was exceptionally good.

Very mediocre bagels for NY. Also we were told they don’t serve pork? Advertising “bacon”, and “ham” without specifying that these are not pork-based is very misleading. Bacon egg and cheese was with “beef bacon”.

The staff here is utterly incompetent. Every week they make a mistake. Either they overcharge, get an order wrong, or omit something. The bagels are great, but I’m getting tired of having to triple check everything they do. Too many bagel stores to put up with nonsense.

EVERY FREAKING TIME! Today I said 3x - “pumpernickel everything bagel.”. Because I knew she screwed up. She got annoyed and still…STILL I got the wrong bagel

We stumbled upon this place and so glad. It was packed but didn't have to wait too long. We had the healthy Choice bagel sandwich on pumpernickel. It was spot on. Shared it. Each had a coffee too. Would totally return. Typical NYC bagel sandwich prices. Fun vibe too.

Since the new owners of the building pushed out Peter, the bagels have suffered in quality. They are much smaller. Do not taste nearly as good. (Less crunchy on the outside, less fluffy on the inside), they have 1/3 the amount of cream cheese, and the price has gone up 30%. - the new owners and landlord stole the name and reputation of the business that Peter built. But their Bagel is much worse than it used to be - despite the renovation of the restaurant. The renovation of the space is nice, but I never went there for the space. I went for a great bagel… which sadly, can no longer be found at court street bagels. They should do the right thing and change the name of the business.

While the bagels here are very good, its the system thats in place that kinda wowed me. These guys know what they are doing.
They are efficient and they get the job done! That level of confidence has me coming here 4 times a week because its friendly and Im in and out in no time. As a busy New Yorker who needs to get his kid to school and then off to work I appreciate this more than anything!

Order was incorrect, incredibly overpriced for what they’re serving, and the service was mediocre at best. There are better bagel places in the neighborhood!

The bagels are very mediocre , not the best of the neighborhood.
But tge worst thing is service.
They have a lot of people behind the counter but they still manage to mess up my order and ticket for the order TWICE!!!
So check your ticket and orders before you leave.
Otherwise you will have to spend an hour just to get your order...
Would never recommend or go back.

If you’re looking for fresh baked bagels and more, this is your number 1 spot. Everything freshly backed in house.

Since Smith Bagels is temporarily closed for renovations, I’ve been getting my usual weekend vegan bagel from this other location — same owner, but honestly, it’s always disappointing. The team at Smith knows how to make a proper bagel: warm, fresh, and with melted cheese. Here, it’s consistently dry and underwhelming. I really need Smith to reopen — and with the same amazing staff that always kept things running smoothly.

+ this place used to be way more better in the pass just a regular bagel place. Now become a busy and soulless spot in the area.

Best bagels in Brooklyn. And they actually have good quality coffee and matcha, which can be hard to find at places that focus on bagels.

One of the best bagel spots I’ve visited in New York! The bagels are fresh, warm, and absolutely delicious, you can really taste that they’re hand-rolled and baked on the premises. The selection of spreads and salads is also great, perfect for both breakfast and lunch.
But what made my visit extra special was the service, especially from a lovely waitress named Aya. She was incredibly kind, attentive, and made everyone feel welcome. You can tell she genuinely cares about customers. Big thanks to her for making the experience even better!
recommend this place if you’re visiting and want a real NYC bagel experience. 🥯✨
