Cosy place to sit and have a coffee and pastry. Breakkie options were unusual - ones with lots of veggie sides but overall a nice place for breakky!
I got a lot of things and they all taste 3 days old, stale, hard as a rock and are too expensive for the quality. Specially the pistachio lobster tail. Would never go back.

Solid slot for pastries and treats, esp like that they are open late and have a nice seating area inside. Service was fast and I really liked the plum and almond flavors inside, would enjoy again!
One of the best bakery’s in Brooklyn!!

Great café! The food is awesome, the prices are very fair, there is a wide variety of selections and the staff is very helpful. The interior is comfortable but not cramped, warm but not boiling, and they serve very fresh meals and treats. I have been going there for. along time and have not had a bad experience. It is busy in that you will definitely not be the only person there, but since it is a large space you will have a place to sit inside or outside. You can seat yourself which is nice, it is a very efficient experience (but you are not rushed), and everything is very clean. Smells great inside and outside, too!

I had an amazing experience at Cousin John’s Café & Bakery in Brooklyn. We ordered the pancetta eggs Benedict, and it was outstanding. the pancetta was perfectly cooked and wonderfully savory. We also tried the fresh squeezed orange juice, which was refreshing, and the ideal compliment to the meal.
The service was surprisingly impressive. The staff was attentive and kind, bringing water right away and offering complimentary chocolate raisin bread with cranberry jam (available only on Sat/Sun 9am–3pm), which was such a thoughtful and delicious fall touch.
The bakery section is incredible. They offer everything from cakes and tarts to cannolis made to order, crème brûlée, crumb cake, mini key lime pies, lobster-tail pastries and everything looked absolutely amazing and high quality.
All in all, Cousin John’s delivers excellent food, exceptional service, and an impressive bakery selection. Highly recommended I’ll definitely be back!

For a bakery on Park Slope, I am disappointed. The croissants are not fresh nor made or baked in-house. The eggs are greasy, just soaked in butter and oil. It seems that this place prefers quantity over quality. Never going back, sorry.

The coffee could be better, brownies don't taste as brownies. Wrong place to stay
Brownie is very dry. Could be better for this price. Americano was already cold. But people are coming, so, probably, it is not so hopeless

Beware! Ordered chicken salad with
macaroni salad and the pasta salad had moth webs all through it. Completely unsanitary and revolting.
