Crab Du Jour Xpress Cajun Seafood

Tbh … why is this spot open. I did a build your own bag Cajun blend, spice level medium. Inside of the seafood boil bag it consisted of (shrimp with the head off, black mussels, potatoes, sausage,corn, boil eggs) in that order is how I would rate what “tasted ” good.

Nothing in that bag had any flavor ! The sauce had no flavor, no salt flavor, no garlic flavor no onion flavor. The “garlic” was crunchy …

The best part was the shrimp. Fresh and plump…. That was my take away. The potatoes were huge and there wasn’t any flavor in that either.. It didn’t even taste like a potato. If you look at the photos you don’t even see a sauce or a coating just shinny 😂

Take away no one can top BENS CRAB. I recommend that place to anyone and i stand on that recommendation. Yall really need to do better.

The seafood boil is very clear color tasteless . Extra Dipping sauce for $4 something LOL And also they forget to put sausage in our order and we have to ask them for that , so they give it later ! And no restrooms , very small space restaurant . The customer service is also not good. They don’t even care u sit or not but we have to pay TIPS . That’s ridiculous !!! Never come again.

The food was excellent. I ordered crab bisque and a lobster roll with a bottle of ice tea for a total of $42.
Came in to get lobster bisque but chose crab bisque and I don't regret it. It was thick with lots of tiny pieces of crab meat. Very tasty. It came in with crackers on the side but I don't think you even need them. You don't even need to add any salt or pepper. The way it comes is just perfect.
Lobster roll was also very good with perfectly toasted buttered bun, shredded lettuce on the bottom and big chunks of lobster on top, all covered in a lobster sauce.
It came with a lot of fries. There were 4 choices for fries - I got cajun.
The decor and cleanliness of the place was better than average. All in all - good place to stop for a great seafood dish.
