I love this place. A true heart of hearts community spot. The food is REALLY good and fresh! so that explains the price. They actually know how to make a cortado and a flavored latte (rare in these parts). Free WiFi and space to work as well as a super cute backyard in the warmer months. The person I always see working here is SUPER nice, helpful, and always willing to make things how you like them, no questions asked. <3

Sometimes you just want a neighborhood coffee spot to sit and people watch. That is exactly what I do when I come here. Especially when it's nice out. I also love that they have decaf coffee. YES, DECAF IS REAL COFFEE!!! LOL! They make a great decaf hazelnut latte. Iced or hot. The staff has been nice every time I go. You may catch me there!

Don't come here.. pastries are expensive for being dry and stale. Drinks were okay but below average...

Paid $11.50 for a small homemade tea and a cookie. Ambiance is nice but not that nice. Breuklyn was half the price

Great place to work from home! They have free wifi and a lot of space to work with a friend or too. I got their lavender latte with almond milk and a chocolate croissant. Both were excellent. this was a really cozy place to work on a rainy day!

With so many options for coffee it can be hectic for an indecisive person like me. I'm so glad I stumbled upon this cafe one morning when I was in search of good coffee. Crown Heights cafe didn't disappoint. I ordered a Flat White and it was creamy and balanced, and made with care.I went back a second time trying the latte and this time I stayed. The energy and vibe are unmatched compared to other cafes I've tried in the area. I forgot to ask for the playlist because I couldn't keep my head from bopping. It's rare to find the owner working just as hard as the baristas and doing so with love and kindness. The icing on the cake was that I was supporting a black business! If you are in search of a new place to work while you sip on your "joe" or munch on a snack, look no further. You may just fall in love like me. I've tried the flat white, latte, and Nutella mocha (my favorite). I would recommend them all!

Spacious, lots of seating. Beyond that, quite bad. Prices are insane and food is terrible. Lemon loaf was $7.50 and tasted like a dry dish sponge. Staff is really bad. Young guy with puffy black curls could not possibly have given less of a s*** if I existed. Young blonde girl was somehow worse. But hey, at least the wife is incredibly spotty and there's always some dude having a comically loud conversation on his phone

The whole experience was fantastic. My fiancée and I ordered 2 iced Nutella mochas and an egg and cheese bagel. The cashier was probably the best part about the experience. He was absolute fabulous and made sure everything we had was good. There was free Wi-Fi available which was great for planning our experience.

The Sorrel Honey Lemonade was delicious, great Latte, and the pastries were fresh, they taste homemade. Excellent service with light cheerful conversation. It's the best place to catch the good Crown Heights vibe. It's quiet and cozy with inside, outside, and back patio seating. I could have stayed there for hours.

Ambience is good but that's where it ends. The Wi-Fi is bad, foods overpriced for how bland it was. Servers were rude. My guacamole toast had definitely gone off the servers were not understanding at all about this. Saying they had it this morning and it was fine... Gauc easily goes off within an hour if it's not treated right. Rarely leave one star reviews. But this was a pretty rough one. Go somewhere else.

Love this place. Super cute ambiance. The bacon egg and cheese croissant is superb. Black owned business as well!

Although I have yet to try the food, the coffee and atmosphere of Crown Heights Cafe is comforting. You can tell this is a community gem that meets good quality with a friendly homey feel, lots of seating and outlets, perfect for getting some work done or meeting with friends! Cant wait to come back!
