Hire … more … waiters!
14 tables and the bartender was the only one serving most of them — while making drinks. We waited 35 minutes for water. Others complained about forgotten drinks.
This is a good place with good people, but it’s drastically understaffed.

Owner sprayed my pregnant wife while walking by. He stoped cleaning the sidewalk for us while walking by but we stopped infront looking at a panflet for maybe 10 seconds, in which he sprayed at the feet and legs. Don’t come here

I've been going to this place off and on for about 20 years and have always been satisfied with the food and service. Tonight I went for their Monday special, which is Ropa Vieja, one of my favorites. When the bill arrived it was charged at full price, which is $5 more than the special. When I questioned the owner about it he first told me that I didn't specify that I wanted the special, then, when I told him that it is right on the restaurant's website he told me something that he has about having just one cook and not being able to afford the special anymore. I feel very disappointed about being ripped off in a place that I've supported for many years.

This local Cuban spot is our go-to hidden gem! The food is consistently so well-seasoned and flavorful you can tell it’s made with love and tradition. They also offer some healthier options that don’t skimp on taste, which I really appreciate.
The service is always friendly, welcoming, and makes you feel right at home. It’s a smaller space, but the vibrant, tropical Cuban vibes more than make up for it — you’ll feel like you’ve been transported straight out of brooklyn with the music, colors, and charm.
I honestly don’t have any complaints about this place! Everything from the food to the atmosphere to the service is just spot on. Highly recommend if you’re craving great food and a cozy, upbeat experience.💃

Service was extremely slow, and the food left much to be desired. I won’t be going back.

The waitress refused to serve me a beverage because I didn’t have “a reservation”. It was 2 pm & the cafe was empty. Won’t be coming back any time soon. Spend your $$ somewhere else!

We came in with our baby and asked if they have a high chair, they said yes and I had my husband go back to the car to put the stroller back in the car. They never bought the high chair after we asked for it 4 times! Every time they told us that they are going to get it and never did. We figured out that they didn't have one. We could've kept the stroller with us. The food was terrible. I had the chicken Palomilla and it was extremely salty. I've had better Cuban food

The best food I’ve had in longggg time. Everything was perfect and delicious. Great proportions, and very well priced. Both creative and traditional options. Breakfast burrito came with avocado and a side of fruit (mango, pineapple, apple), the maduros were perfectly carmelized and came with an incredible, spicy mango salsa. My partner got the cubano benedict and loved it. Vibes were great, the music is awesome, and the decor was vibrant and relaxing. Service was pretty excellent, they were very attentive. This place deserves lines around the block for their brunch!! Will absolutely be back, new fave neighborhood spot!

This is the sleeper hit of the neighborhood. The food is excellent, the service is friendly and attentive, the prices are great. I’ve been for dinner and brunch, both were amazing. Get the Cuban sandwich at least once. Other bops: bean soup, chicken soup, green juice, beans and rice. It’s all good.
