Ideal location (4 me), well marked isles make finding needed items helpful. Informed & courteous employees in store & pharmacy make shopping easy !

This CVS has all the basics you would expect to find at any CVS. The downside is the pharmacy, while the people who work there are nice and perfectly helpful it takes a long time. There is always a line no matter what time of day or day of the week and even when your medication is ready you can be stuck there for a while. There is also no working bathroom.

I received good customer service and my photos were printed very quickly from ordering online.

Seriously never thought I would review a local, chain drug store, but holy s**** I've NEVER in 30 years of living, come across a more unorganized, dysfunctional, and SLOW establishment with less then smart people working there. I've had the unfortunate experience of coming here not once but twice. This location is within walking distance of my home, making it convenient for small items. Both times coming here, the shelves were a mess, nothing where it was labeled and suppose to be. No signs or stickers of ANY of the sales, had to walk around with the open flyer in my hands to see what was on sale. Purchased a chocolate candy for my nephew - it was off! The chocolate was PALE - as in it went bad long time ago. To my disbelief, I looked at the label and the expiration date was over a year ago! I went back with the candy in hand just to get a rude and ghetto cashier that told me they would not replace the item or refund it, even after I took her to the candy isle and pointed out several other candies that were also expired! I will NEVER again shop at this location and discourage anyone else from doing so. This is just a pathetic store and management really needs to step in and step up!

Ah, okay. This location is already at a low of 1.5 stars. Maybe that's why I had the following experience last Friday, which I explained in my 4-star yelp for New York Medical Clinic: "Now there was an issue with picking up my prescription (something about the brand not being covered by my plan, according to a phone rep from my health insurance company). However, they were waiting for me at my pharmacy of choice, and they were ready by the time I left the clinic and after I'd done a little grocery shopping. I'm confident that when I call [New York Medical Clinic] to explain the snag, things will be resolved in a timely manner. My son was given a prescription too, but everything went smoothly for him at the pharmacy he picked his stuff up at.". So it wasn't New York Medical Clinic at all (So I've deleted the paragraph above from their yelp.). It was this CVS' pharmacy staff. After not being able to clear my prescriptions so I wouldn't have to pay over $150 out of pocket, and me calmly refusing to pay out of pocket, I was told by the male staffer, at the consultation desk who was trying to bag my meds to be rung up, to contact my health insurance provider. That was it. It couldn't have been CVS' problem. So I called my health insurance provider that same day, but they weren't able to offer a solution or even a lead to a solution. The earliest I could get back to unraveling this for myself was today. I called New York Medical Clinic to explain that I couldn't get my medicine and was told that my issue would be relayed to Dr. Uduevbo. In the end, neither of these parties could've helped me, but I didn't realize this until after a little voice told me to call CVS' pharmacy again. So I called CVS' pharmacy and spoke to a woman who asked me for a prescription number that was clearly on the health insurance card that I had to provide, along with my driver's license, on my first attempt at getting my prescription last Friday. How was that prescription number not entered into their system by the CVS pharmacy staffer who took my health insurance card and DL? Lame. Because I couldn't give the woman over the phone the prescription number from my card so she could verify whether or not that was the root of the problem, I stopped by CVS' pharmacy again in-person to provide my health insurance card again. I'll spare the ridiculous communication breakdown I endured, which had nothing to do with this yelp, before getting to the consultation desk and cut to the chase (I mean, seriously, isn't what I'm writing about embarrassing enough for these guys?). I was told by the pharmacist at the consultation desk that I had two records in CVS' system, one was from my home state, and that this could've been the cause of the problem. How two records in their database - or the prescription number from my health insurance card I was told hadn't been entered - wasn't caught as the obstacle blocking me from getting my medicine last week is a real stumper. The guy from last week simply decided that I had to pay out of pocket or speak to my health insurance provider because THAT'S WHAT HE DECIDED thanks to his critical thinking skills (He didn't even bother asking anyone for help. I remember. And the pharmacists who helped me today was in plain view on the day he helped me, just several feet behind him working on another computer. He couldn't have asked her...or anyone else why he couldn't clear my prescriptions for a co-pay?). Don't get me wrong, he wasn't a j*** about it, and he was even trying to give me a deal on my Ibuprofen ($25) with a verbal promise of returning my money after things somehow got magically cleared up, but still. What's it called out here? Regents Exams? Isn't passing the applicable ones with a certain score a requirement for some jobs in NY state?

Compare to the 65th St in Borough Park, the Flatbush CVS sucks, they take to long to get your prescription ready. They got the prescription more than an hour ago and still had to wait 20-30 min for a cream. Whats the point of having your doctor send via internet if its still the same wait time as having filled out in paper. Switching to Borough Park its way faster.

I'm sorry. This place deserves "0" stars I've been dealing with Cvs for 20 years. Transferred all my prescriptions to this location during a SNOW STORM I was without my heart medication and this store REFUSED to provide me with a 2 day supply I was forced to vacate my location during this storm to get to the place where my pills were. DURING a State of Emergency SNOW STORM. Called CVS corporate (what a joke that was) waiting since 1/5 for my phone call back. Still no call. The pharmacist name was (I believe) Melinda or Melisma
