I was very impressed! It’s a cute, quaint spot that felt particularly cozy on a cold winter night sipping miso soup and green tea. Every hand roll we had was truly delicious. The seafood was very fresh and flavorful. Loved the vegetarian options as well.

This place is a gem. Like seriously the best cut rolls and hand rolls I've ever had. Super fresh. Hand rolls nori are so crispy. Snow crab roll is delicious. My wife likes the spicy tuna and seaweed salad. Very good. Nice selection of saki. Don't hesitate because it's just rolls. It's amazing. Service is so attentive. Chefs are friendly. I go 3 times per month minimum. Recommend to dine in.

There's standard NY Sushi (better than most other places in the country, Good NY Sushi (better than anywhere else in the country,) and truly great NY Sushi (you should definitely go out of your way for this one!) Daigo fits squarely in the last category of truly great NY Sushi.
They obviously take great pains to get only the best ingredients and employ the people that know how to handle them. My family enjoys the sushi from Daigo both for delivery and dining in. We most recently had lunch there and everything was as perfect as we could imagine. My wife and son each had maki roll lunch specials (my wife 2 and my son 3) and they couldn't stop declaring how great they were. I had the Daigo special bowl (an amazing chirashi type assortment) and it was spectacular.
Besides top class food, the service is welcoming and attentive and the small space is a comfortable place that makes you feel like you've found one of the borough's best secret spots. The next time you're feeling like maki rolls or hand rolls, make this your stop. You won't be dissapointed!

Droool. Amazing quality and freshness. There’s no atmosphere because it’s a takeout place. If you get hand rolls, have them show you how to unwrap the plastic.

Rolls were tasty. Service was ok but not very attentive in a small spot, music very low, chef kept on fiddling with the circuit breaker and turned lights, AC and music off and on several times during our 30 minutes there, a little disruptive to a quiet dinner.

Crispy nori, subtley warm lightly seasoned rice, fresh flavorful seafood; These three components well combined into one handroll makes it a great taste experience. It might sound weird but what I loved the most here is that subtley warm temparature of the rice.
I had tuna toro, seared salmon and saba. As different seafood was served with different style recipe, each of their taste balance differed but they were all delicious in different manner.
Highly recommended for those who are nearby. However, I personally imagine that handroll is probably one type of food whose quality degrades quite significantly once crafted as one handroll (particularly the rice), meaning I’m not sure if its full potential can be tasted if served as delivered food.
The combination of subtly warm, slightly seasoned rice, crispy seaweed, and fresh seafood was very delicious. What impressed me most was the subtle warmth of the rice that complemented the taste of the seafood. But I think the shine will fade a lot if you eat this as delivery food.

I really liked the atmosphere—nice and cozy inside, with some tables outside. The handroll sushi was good, and the person taking the order was attentive. However, the sushi chef was using his phone and wearing headphones while making sushi, which didn’t seem sanitary or attentive. Despite this, I would still recommend this place for a bite! ??

I'm so happy to find gluten-free sushi in BK! They had GF soy sauce as well. As a celiac, I have to eat this way and am so glad I could enjoy myself here with clear labels and options. Sushi was delicious, the service was good, and the ambiance was nice. Will definitely go back.
