Avoid Daisy’s Diner in Brooklyn at all costs. The service was absolutely horrible—waited over 45 minutes just to place an order, and another 30 for cold food to finally arrive. The booths are ridiculously small; I’m average-sized and could barely squeeze in without bumping elbows with strangers.

The food was a total letdown. Ordered a gyro wrap and specifically asked for feta inside—they brought it on the side in a sad little cup, completely ruining the dish. Tasted bland and greasy anyway. To top it off, the ceiling started leaking right over my table—water dripping straight onto my plate mid-meal. Health hazard much?

Most alarming: the fire exit was completely blocked by stacked boxes and equipment. If a fire broke out, there’s no way anyone’s getting out safely. This place is a disaster waiting to happen. Management clearly doesn’t care. Never again.

They also charged 6 dollars for the tzatziki sauce that CAME with my meal.

Please look at my pictures for reference.

I see how they respond to these reviews. I hope the respond to me because this service was HORRIBLE

To be honest I was so shocked and happy with how good the food was and the atmosphere. If you’re looking for a place to catch up with friends or family this is the spot. I recommend the French toast very soft and crispy. Perfect mix! I had been here a few years ago and the place doesn’t compare to how it is now.

Came in on Friday night — never heard of it. We were obsessed 10/10! Sweetest server. Run dont walk to the buttermilk pancakes.

Cant wait to come back and explore the rest of the pancake selection

So lucky to stumble across Daisy’s Diner while working in the neighborhood. We liked it so much, we came back three days in a row. Must haves in our opinion:
Double bacon cheeseburger with billionaire bacon (they cure the bacon in house overnight) and it’s fantastic!. My partner had the same burger the next morning for breakfast because of how good it was.

I had the billionaire bacon as a side with my breakfast, you will return just for this bacon alone. Highly recommend!!!

Other dishes we tried were the chicken tacos- excellent.

And a notable mention to the humble french fry, which were outstanding. Cooked the right way, in beef tallow, truly memorable! This is an elevated version of the American diner, but still holds all the same charm with very cool vibes in the evening.

If you are lucky enough to get chatting to Jordan, he can guide you through the super cool, color-coded menu, and discuss all things food. Even recommended other places in the neighborhood to us. Sent us on our way with a cinnamon roll and a very very yummy crumb cake!

I've been happily going to Daisy's Diner for over 30 yrs. The food is ALWAYS good, tasty, hot, and good sized servings. Waitresses are usually very friendly, and are very attentive to customers needs, like they're ALWAYS ready to fill your coffee cup. It's a very clean place too, and I've never encountered a troublesome customer.

Im not one to usually do a google review but the experience last night was subpar and thats me being nice. We arrived as a party of 8 and we needed to go up to an employee after 7 minutes of waiting to ask for a table. Once being told to go sit in the back another 10-15 minutes passed and we hadn’t even received a menu to even look at. A employee passed by and we made a very loud clear side comment to be heard “ Is there even a waiter that works here?” To only be told by an employee walking by that their shift is ending and cannot help us! I then needed to get up 5 minutes later (mind you this is us being seated already for close to 20 minutes and no interaction from any employee) and go up to an employee to ask them if anyone can give us a menu or even acknowledge that we were CUSTOMERS at a table trying to place an order. The place was also not the cleanest, finished plates of food still sitting at tables for who knows how long without being brought to the back. All the tables that had finished plates had been there from when we arrived and past when we left which was at least an hour and a half visit. The food was decent but by the time we got it and already with the negative experience in mind it was hard to enjoy the meal properly.
