My wife is from Brooklyn and she loves this place best of all (tied with Spumoni Gardens for me). Best round pizza and best square pizza I have ever had. Square pizza is soft like a pillow or a cloud. It is amazing. Round pizza is thin but not too thin. Good for "fold over" eating like a real Brooklyn pie should be. ...
I have been eating at this pizzeria since 1981. I remember this being the most satisfying slice of pizza I ever had. The Sicilian pizza gets my vote for the best pizza on the East Coast USA because I haven't been to Italy before. That's coming from me an authentic Roman Catholic with 100% Italian ancestry. My mom ate there while she was pregnant with me; me and this pizza go way back.
