The Golden Papaya drink was amazing and definitely worth trying!!! The Osmanthus series tasted quite nice as well, although I found the ginger rice balls (topping) to be rather strong and a little bit bitter.

Terrible experience!!! Music is so loud that it’s impossible to focus. Even if you’re blasting loud music in your headphones. Had to cancel a zoom work interview because the music was too loud.

Great place when they have peach oolong milk tea. Last seven times I came in they were out of stock so I left. Will not be trying again. Would love to change my review if you restock

Will it be back?
I'll bump it up a star for an honest "no" if that is the case and swing by for the yummy foods you guys have

I was looking for a place to get a smoothie but came across Debutea and ditched my smoothie plan to get one of their boba teas. The Taro Bobo with almond milk did not disappoint. It was not overly sweet, and the mix of textures between the taro paste, cold milk, and tapioca pearls was enjoyable. The layout is beautiful and perfect if you need a not-so-rowdy place to get work done. There is pop music playing but with a smaller more-private seating area in the back, there is a place for both a chill zone, and a social zone.

The drink experience was excellent. What stands out the most is the creativity of the menu offerings. Many of the flavors seem natural and are derived from fresh fruit, with inventive combinations and customization options.

The Coco Mango tea was a delight, incorporating sweet mango, soft coconut jelly, and gummy boba in a balanced profile of taste reminiscent of a classic dessert. It was respectably not too sweet despite the many ingredients. When stirred together, the drink formed a pleasant texture.

Adding to the experience was the cozy and subdued atmosphere. The interior of the shop is decorated with modern elements inspired by earthen hues. People were comfortably settled into the ample seating available, working on laptops and reading. The ambiance is welcoming of a productive mood as well as a more relaxed desire to unwind with friends & partners.

This is among the better boba offerings in the city.

One of the only dine in bubble tea places left. Good quality tea, good food, ample places to sit and get work done with lots of outlets. Has outdoor seating as well.

It’s been sad to see this place decline over the last year. It used to be a really cute and comfortable space with great boba, but now it’s just a lot busier and more expensive too. You’d think increased business would have helped but instead their portions have gotten smaller (a lot of the new drinks don’t even have a large option) while also increasing in price, and the atmosphere is gone too. The workers seem pissed off all the time and every time I ask them something they’re passive aggressive, maybe because there’s no appointed cashier due to the self service machine, or because they’re overworked, I don’t know.

Not to mention the last 3 times I’ve been here the wifi has been really slow, to the point of the machines not working a couple times due to a bad connection (which was confusing because no one was even there to take my order instead). Also it’s a cop hangout spot now. Take that how you will.

That said the boba is still good, just not as good as it used to be, and maybe not worth $8 for a tiny cup that you finish in a few minutes.

I used to come here every month but I think it’s time to find another go-to boba place. Unfortunate.

This establishment takes ALL tips made by their employees and keeps it (DO NOT TIP, IT ONLY GOES IN THE POCKETS OF MANAGEMENT) does not pay their baristas on time and are petty communicators (often making employees play telephone as the management is too cowardly to take charge in a respectful manner). They have been “quiet” firing employees, some who work 12 hour shifts at the request of management, without pay. Their prices are ridiculous and THE CUPS ARE TINY for half the drink menu being STOLEN recipes, I do not recommend. Please support other cafes and dining establishments that treat their employees with respect and courtesy.

Had a bad experience with the staff today, I didn’t have my card with me and only had 100 dollar bill. One of the staff was very helpful and told me that they don’t have change and I said that it’s okay, I’m staying for at least 4 hours and will have more than a drink and that he could keep the 100 for now. However, the other staff member came aggressively and said we don’t accept 100 dollars in a bad way. Thought the place was lovely seeing it the day before and wanted to try it.

The environment is great! There are many seats and the three essentials for an office are WiFi, sockets, and toilets. I don’t like drinking coffee in the afternoon, so I’m really happy to have a hand-operated shop where I can sit for a long time. I hope there will be one near my home. My jasmine, lychee and grape drink is not particularly amazing. It tastes a bit astringent. But I give you a lot of fruits with great sincerity
