Our first stop in Brooklyn after a longer drive, we ordered 1/2 egg and potato sandwich with fried eggplant and it was delicious. It was also more food than we could have finished haha. The people behind the counter worked super quick and were also extremely nice.They only take cash.

I gotta say I hate to do this, but I traveled from Pennsylvania on my birthday to get a chicken cutlet sandwich from this legendary store. I got there 15 minutes before they closed, but they were already closed up. When the staff came out of the store, I asked why they closed early, and they ignored me. I was disappointed. Thankfully, I was able to get great food at another place. As a business owner, I'd be pissed if my employees turned away business so they could leave early!!!!!

Been here a few times, never disappointed. This time had the Golden Boy and it was great. Vodka sauce could make or break a dish, this one was one of the best I have ever had. Potato and Leek soup was a pleasant surprise too!
