“It was a meaningful family event and we truly enjoyed it. The only issue was needing to go up and down a very steep set of stairs between levels, which wasn’t pleasant. I do wish the venue’s layout had been designed a bit better.

We had the best experience at a wedding here. Everything was first class, from the service to the food. Loved every minute!

We had the best night of our lives here!!! Our wedding (~110 ppl) was AMAZING all thanks to the amazing staff at Deity!! The superstars of the night - Matthew, Janellee (sp?), DJ Jon Divine, Chef, everyone who’s name escapes me - and most of all CAIO! Our guests raved about the food, about the orchestration of the ceremony, about the music, about the layout with the floors. Our friends were thrilled with the bridal suite area and the hot tub (prospective couples: I literally cannot recommend this enough).

I had a blast getting married obviously, but I also had a blast working with Caio and Matthew to execute this vision that was years in the making. And on the day of my wedding, it was just letting myself be ushered from place to place, and enjoying the night and the love from my friends and family. I would get married here EVERY year if that made sense!!

Our wedding at Deity was exactly what we had envisioned. Having been to loads of weddings held in standard banquet halls or ballrooms, we were looking for a “non-traditional” venue that stood out, and Deity did exactly that.

Working with Anastasia and Caio was the most seamless process that we could have hoped for. They were both extremely accommodating, understanding, and willing to work with us to ensure that the day went exactly as we had planned. We had a few unconventional requests, which were welcomed wholeheartedly and executed on flawlessly.

The service and food throughout the night were amazing, with a few of our guests saying that it was the best wedding food they have ever had.

We got married at Diety a couple months ago but we actually found Deity two years prior to that when I stumbled upon this venue online. Originally we were not even searching for a venue in new york city but when we found Deity - I thought, this is too good to be true and booked a viewing immediately. We were immediately impressed with not only the gorgeous venue but their all in one package, and the flexibility and kindness we received on our initial viewing made us confident we found the right place. Throughout the wedding process Caio always answered my questions and were so open to all our ideas and remained flexible to help us execute a unique and special day. On the day of the wedding and leading up we had the pleasure of working with Anastasia who helped execute everything for us. The day ran so smoothly and Anastasia did not miss a beat - she not only ran the entire show, she always made sure we were taken care of and she quickly became a close friend we trusted that night. The chef James executed a special all vegan menu for us and both us and our guests raved about the food and we are still being told our delicious the vegan meatballs were! The bartenders and servers were also all amazing, the drinks were amazing and the service was quick. The DJ also killed it and was able to keep everyone on the dance floor all night and also went above and beyond with our song requests for the day. We are so beyond happy we got married at Deity and could have not found a better venue that cared so much, was filled with so much detail and care and had the best employees working for them who made it all possible.

Son got married here. Flawless execution. Wonderful food. Gorgeous space. Bravo! Highly recommended for a modest-sized wedding of about 100 guests.

We had the most beautiful wedding at Deity NYC on September 18th, 2025, and it truly exceeded every expectation. From start to finish, the team made us feel so cared for — every detail was handled with love and intention.
We were so honored that Caio, the owner, was there every step of the way. Not only did he keep the flow of the evening seamless (and wow, what an incredible MC he is!), but he went above and beyond — personally helping my grandmother, who uses a wheelchair, get to every floor of the venue. That moment alone showed just how deeply the Deity team cares about their couples and guests. The sign that says “Brooklyn Love” isn’t just décor — they truly live by it.
A special shoutout to Anastacia, who made me smile all day long and somehow managed to bustle my dress in under five minutes — she’s a total unicorn! Chef James created absolute perfection on every plate; our guests are still raving about the food. The Caviar Potato was an unforgettable showstopper!
Thank you also to Matt, who made every guest feel at home and coordinated our late-night bites — such a fun and delicious touch. The bartenders absolutely understood the assignment (let’s just say everyone’s dance moves improved after visiting them 😂).
And DJ BenHa — you are one of a kind! Every song hit perfectly, our requests were honored, and the dance floor never stopped. It was pure joy from start to finish.
Deity is truly a gem — from the stunning multi-level design to the heart of the people who run it. Our guests were completely wowed as they experienced each unique floor throughout the night. We can’t wait to come back to celebrate more love and milestones in this magical space.

We got married at Deity 2 months ago and couldn't be happier with how everything went. The venue is gorgeous, the food was delicious and plentiful, and the music that DJ Ben played was so good that all of our guests danced for the whole time -- there were no wallflowers. We had a microwedding and got the package deal and were super happy with the staff, support, overall look and feel of the space, and how taken care of we were by Anastasia (the day of coordinator). You can't go wrong with Deity, and you won't find a better bang for your buck in NYC!

Absolutely stunning venue. I had the honor of planning my aunt's wedding and it was truly everything that she wanted. Anastasia is the SWEETEST! It was amazing working with her to make everything come together. The venue is very rustic and gives a very comforting/familiar feel. Usually you have look for so many different vendors when booking a venue, but Deity offers food, space, drinks, optional suite, and DJ included for an affordable price. If I could get married again, I'd use them lol. Other than that, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM! ❤️

My wife and I got married on 8/31/25 and Caio and the team made our experience better than we could have possibly imagined. From the very beginning their open and direct communication regarding our wants and expectations for the day reduced so much of the stress that you typically hear weddings involve. The day of ran unbelievably smoothly in large part due to how on top of things not only Caio but every member of the Deity team clearly were. We were consistently treated with respect and checked in with. The private moments that the space allows for were absolutely necessary for us when we felt overwhelmed, and the staff made sure that we had what we needed to feel happy and stress free. I will be recommending Deity to any friends or family that get married in the future. 10/10 - thank you Deity!

Great location, awesome brick exposed walls, nice bar, nice staff.... Horrible event coordinator..
Does not understand the concept of a late fee when starting late. Lacks real wedding planning experience.

We fell in love with Deity the moment we toured it. It’s gorgeous, intimate, classy — old-school New York at its exposed brick and stained-glass finest. It’s essentially a three-for-one venue: the Loft for ceremony and dinner, the Lounge for cocktail hour, and the Cellar for dancing. Our guests raved about how unique the flow of the evening was.

I highly recommend doing a tasting beforehand — chef is incredibly accomplished, and the food was outstanding. The servers were very attentive, and Ben, the DJ, absolutely knocked it out of the park. He read the vibe of the room so well and literally kept people on the dance floor all night.

The convenience for the price point is absolutely unmatched:

✅ linens, dinnerware, glasses, furnishings
✅ bar staff and servers

One piece of advice for future couples: hire your own coordinator to act as an advocate and buffer on your wedding day — a kind of stage manager. Deity does provide a day-of coordinator, but we had some frustrating challenges on this front. Looking back, it would have helped to have someone outside the venue team fully dedicated to managing the timeline and wrangling bridal parties, family, and vendors, and executing our vision overall. You’ll work with Deity’s coordinator in the lead-up to create a timeline (make it as detailed as humanly possible — lists upon lists!), but there were still moments when we were pulled out of the celebration to answer questions or remind the coordinator of details already in the plan. Having an additional coordinator would have allowed us to stay more fully present.

That said, our overall experience at Deity was overwhelmingly positive, 10/10, would get married there again. The atmosphere, food, service, and convenience made for an unforgettable wedding. If you’re looking for a charming venue that captures the magic of New York while taking so much of the logistical stress off your shoulders, Deity is a wonderful choice.
