Lots of options!
Open later than most places in the area 10PM. Convenient if you are staying or live in the area. Mostly Asian - Thai, Chinese, Japanese food options. Trader Joe’s open til 9PM.
Good for tourist
Awesome place to get all the food you can dream of, and the bathrooms are always stocked and clean
It's expensive, chaotic and I'm gluten free so options are limited. $25 for HALF a sandwich at Katz is crazy too lol
I almost always end up at Trader Joes unless I get an arepa or fries before going to a movie/concert
Amazing
Variety of shops and restaurants in the area
This little market is awesome. I come here every time I visit Brooklyn. Moritz is my favorite vendor, but all of the ones I have tried are great. It’s such a cool experience and a neat environment. It was the first place I ever went to in New York so it really made an awesome impression of the city on me and showed me a sample of the many different foods it has to offer.
Great food! Options !
Plenty of options across then inexpensive to moderately expensive price range. Loved the vibe of the place.

Cool 😎
I went there for pierogi and a place called Pierogi Boys, but Dekalb Market Hall has many different options, it’s a little bit for everyone
Dekalb Market Hall – A Hidden Culinary Treasure in Brooklyn
Dekalb Market Hall was a surprising gem tucked beneath the busy City Point complex. From the moment I stepped in, I felt like I had discovered a secret world of food and culture. The space is vibrant, filled with energy, and you can find flavors from all over the world—Asian, Latin, American, and more. It’s more than a food court—it’s an experience. I especially liked how the seating was spread around cozy corners instead of a typical cafeteria setup.
Prices vary depending on the vendor, but generally fair for NYC. Some places are on the higher end, but the quality makes up for it. Whether you’re craving ramen, tacos, lobster rolls, or dessert, you’ll find something satisfying here. My only note is that it can get crowded during lunch and weekends, so it’s better to come early.
I love that the market supports small businesses and up-and-coming chefs—it makes the whole experience feel more authentic and special.
Would I return? 100%. It’s a foodie’s dream spot and a must-visit in Downtown Brooklyn.
Located in Downtown Brooklyn, DeKalb Market Hall is a hidden gem. The food hall is humongous and the food is very yummy. It has tons of food stalls and good restaurants. You can enjoy on your own of with family. I'm hyped to recommend it!
