Once again Another Indian restaurant trying to pull the wall over the customers eyes. I ordered some appetizers and specifically asked for Poori bread And Paratha bread To go with it. Instead, I got two pieces of naan bread with butter on it as if I would not know the difference. This is the third Indian restaurant to do this. If you don’t have one, I’m asking for at least contact me and try to substitute it for something else. Don’t send something that I know is gonna be not what I want and expect me to just eat it.. Won’t be ordering from them again.
They take a little long for delivery (they are worth the wait) but you can walk there and sit. Inside is cute and the food is INCREDIBLE. They make the best day even better. My only regret is not coming sooner!

I came across Desi Grill for lunch today, which is not that easy to do as it's in a semi-industrial setting. They seem to do a steady take-out service, but I like to eat in and read so I had the place all to myself. For $10.95, you get a choice of lamb, chicken or a vegetable curry with rice and naan. I chose lamb, which was not the most tender, but the sauce was so tasty, and the portions were plentiful especially for the price and for NYC. I was so impressed, I took home the aloo gobi lunch special. This may seem weird, but I love leftover naan for breakfast and am looking forward to having it tomorrow morning.
