Going to Desy’s clam (old Little Charlie’s) was one of the most nostalgic parts of our trip. I used to eat their chicken parm hero sandwich all the time. 13 years later I got to experience it again. Great food and service!

This place has an appealing appearance. The food here leaves you wanting more! The staff coach here deserves industry recognition. The food quality is superior. This restaurant is remarkably good.

Popped in for drinks and some apps. Drinks were great. Apps were great, and the folks who run it are amazing

I love clams and seafood. This restaurant is in walking distance to my apartment and I was curious if the food was good or not. Overall, I like the food and drink. Sangria is on the lighter side, baked clams is good, Scungilli is my dish and I like it. I didn't see much of Italian place that has this dish on the menu even it suppose to be a regular dish in Italian restaurant. It was easy Sunday and I walked in with out reservations.

They used to be the cooks at the famous lil Charlie’s clam bar on Kenmare st. In nyc. Now in Williamsburg Brooklyn. the fried shrimp with medium sauce off the hook. The calamari is a lil big and chewy. I go with the shrimp and linguine. The mozzarella and tomatoes is a must make sure you ask for garlic too. Get the crumbled hot sausage and broccoli rabe. A glass of wine and some coke and you’re in business.

Desy’s Clam Restaurant in Brooklyn is an absolute gem and easily one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in New York. Their three signature red sauces—mild, medium, and spicy—are each uniquely flavorful and crafted to perfection, giving every dish a bold and memorable punch. Whether you’re in the mood for a gentle tomato sweetness or a fiery kick, there’s something for every palate. The staff and the owner are incredibly welcoming, making you feel like family the moment you walk in. The atmosphere is warm and unpretentious, and the service is genuinely top-notch.

The food here is unforgettable. The shrimp, chicken, and eggplant Parmigiana are all tender, perfectly breaded, and smothered in that amazing red sauce and melty cheese. The cheesy garlic bread is a must—crisp on the outside, soft on the inside, and loaded with rich, garlicky goodness. Their meatballs are incredibly tender, savory, and clearly made with care. And to top it all off, Desy’s serves what I’m convinced is the best cannoli in New York City: crisp shells, creamy filling, just the right touch of sweetness. I have probably been here 70 times and even had my engagement party here! this place is a Brooklyn treasure.

Enjoyed the food, service, drinks and was happy with the prices, so this will be one of our regular spot to eat 😀

The food was surprisingly good juxtapose against the menu prices. The portions are incredibly large again juxtaposed against the menu prices. The food that I had the mozarella sticks and the veer parmesan were out of this world and such a bargain. I am saddened that this place is all the way in Brooklyn far from my abode which is in lower Manhattan but that shant deter me from popping back in. Again, Really looking forward to more mozzarella sticks.

I don't know what happened to this restaurant. It used to be a very good family oriented restaurant. Please be careful, you'll get overpriced. I went one day I got one price and my father went another day and the man with the glasses that always serves us was there and charged us less. Every single time the other guy charges us we get charged more. To be honest. Patsy's has better food. That's why Bobbydo doesn't go there anymore-

Food was pretty good with the exception of the fried calamari we ordered as an appetizer. They were over cooked and tastes like I was chewing a rubber band with salt on it. I’ve eaten here before, so I was a bit disappointed. I had the angel hair pasta with meatball parmigiana & garlic bread. My husband enjoyed his penne al la vodka with chicken. Sangria was pretty good too. Waitress was very polite and apologetic when she realized we couldn’t eat the calamari.
