Easily the best cup of coffee in Williamsburg, and the croissants are lovely too. I always bump into people I know here, today I saw three people. Full-hearted recommend.

The barista tried shaming me for not leaving a tip (while I was actively looking for cash to put in the tip jar lol) which sucks because the coffee is good. Expecting a tip on an already $8 cup of coffee is absurd and makes me not want to go back. Bad vibes all around.

We were recommended Devoción by some locals in the area and it didn’t disappoint. As a Londoner I was growing weary of all the watery coffees I’d had on my travels in the US and opted for a short americano with the special espresso and it was sensational. Very fruity, great body. I also picked up a bag of beans recommended by Chris at the checkout so we’re excited to try that. Chris was very knowledgeable and friendly, taking the time to explain the flavour profiles and generally made us feel very comfortable. Great visit all round. Thanks so much!

I wish the sunroof was covered up, most of the seats are under the sweltering sun and in summer, the heat is unbearable. The AC and ambiance is otherwise nice but a nice dark Cafe would be amazing to relax in. I'm escaping into cafes to escape the sun, not be brought back into it 😂 Anyways, just a personal preference. Might even save you the electricity bill with less cooling needed.

I'm not one to complain about service, but I'm sad to say that, after going here for 7 years, I've made my last visit to Devoción. I ordered an espresso shot, and the barista (wearing a bandana, nose ring, and a tattoo on his right bicep) seemed upset when I said thanks. I didn't think much of it until I went back for a second order. When I thanked him, he very pointedly rolled his eyes at me. I can only assume this rudeness was because I didn't leave a tip.
Devoción, do you not pay your baristas a living wage? I shouldn't have to make an extra donation on a $5 single shot espresso to avoid the contempt of your employees.

The coffee is amazing, but the lady that took our order was so rude that is ruins the experience.
Best coffee in Williamsburg. Fresh and flavorful. The space is full of natural light and the music is excellent.

Great coffee and beautiful room to set up to do work in for an afternoon catch up with friends or plot how to convince your boss and head of HR to attend a Coldplay concert inconspicuously because you got looked over for that promotion you deserved.

Amazing coffee, unique pastry options & knowledgeable and friendly staff. This place can get CROWDED during morning and lunch rushes and it’s hard to find seating, but the atmosphere is great. They have no wifi on the weekends to deter guests from posting up to do work.
