I got the chance to visit with my family last weekend, and the pizza certainly blew all expectations. I read a couple of reviews beforehand to get a feel for the place and recommend it to my family when we arrived. The service was quick, and the pizza did not disappoint. It was one of the best slices I've ever had; all the toppings blended so well, and it was a decent-sized portion! I highly recommend it and can't wait to visit again if I'm ever in New York.

You get what you pay for. This place is
Excellent. 10/10 would eat again and will. I also ordered on advance and it was ready on time. Go grab yourself a slice

Not worth your time. They only want your money. Living off reputation from 10+ years ago.

I heard about this place from a friend. I came to restaurant and noticed that it was in a time warp from the 80s. You can feel the nostalgia.
Nice people running the place and the pizza was really good. The fresh basil is a nice old school place.
I noticed several visitors told the owner they used to come here as a kid, So there's a history here that I wasn't aware of. It reminds me of the Kum Kau Chinese Restaurant in Clinton Hills I grew up around.
This place is worth the trip if you are interested in old school Italian pizza!

Heard about it from a friend, said it’s the best pizza in NY. Well idk about best in NY but it was indeed really good pizza! We had both the regular pie and the square one, the basil presence was great and the crisp - 10/10. Thanks :)

This pie did not disappoint. Greeted right when we entered the shop and asked if we had any questions. Easy access to the menu through a QR code. We went with a traditional cheese pie and were quoted 20 minutes as it’s a fresh made to order pie and had a moderate amount of orders ahead of us. Pie was ready as quoted and man oh man did it deliver a flavor bomb upon the first bite. It didn’t burn my mouth but was definitely hot and delicious. The crust was absolute perfection. Not too chewy! Flaky and light yet didn’t fold over when picked up! Sauce was simple and balanced out by the cheese blend and touch of oil. Nice fresh basil trimmed on top before boxing was a flavorful addition as well. I didn’t want that first piece to end. Could not recommend more!

make sure you’re getting a fresh slice, not some reheated stuff that tastes like the $1.50 slices around the corner

Believe the hype. This is the best pizza you will ever have. No joke. The sauce is fantastic. The dough is good. And the cheese tastes perfect in the mix. When they cut up fresh basil on top, oh boy. I really enjoyed both the regular and Sicilian. The pepperoni was delicious also. Plan to wait unless you get there when they open. But trust me, it is worth it
