My family and I tried Jamaican food for the first time at this place and it was really delicious. We got oxtail, curry chicken, and a bunch of sides and really enjoyed everything so we will definitely be going back soon.
I support black business but the food is disgusting how could you mess up on fried chicken ???!!!
and Mac and cheese
My Mac and cheese was more like hamburger helper quality the bag had a puddle of cheese water at the bottom eeeeeyuck!!
Go back to culinary school please
Dis where dem a keep the fish fry
My church just hosted a fish fry. I shopped around everywhere to find a price that was right. All the prices that the big name restaurants gave me were unrealistic. I found this wonderful woman, owner of this beautiful restaurant. She was so polite, so helpful, and motivating when I felt like giving up on the event. I ordered 2 kinds of fish, 50 total, and that was the NICEST fish I’ve ever eaten. I could recommend this establishment to any party, any event, any anything lol. This is the place to be. she’s very efficient and I loved the entire experience with her.

Restaurantji Recommends
I’ve always passed this restaurant on my way to Carvel which is located next door and decided to stop in because I had a taste for oxtails. The server was very pleasant which made me felt good about the restaurant and food. I must say I haven’t had a oxtail dinner like that in a long time, from the rice to the veggies and the plantains which had a wonderful kick not like a regular sweet plantain it had a nice little Spivey spice to it. I look forward to going back to try a few more of their dishes. I highly recommend this restaurant and you can also dine in the serene clean atmosphere. That’s why I’ve given it 4stars. Try it for yourself

Personally, you have to go there like an hour after they open because if you wait til late the food sits there and over cooks but get me wrong most of their is awesome and they give you kinda big portions - also the woman serving you ( so far all in seen is one ) is very nice and makes small talk with you. She also makes some of the drinks there which are amazing. One of my favorite being the homemade Ginger fruitpunch . Excellent
Parking: Not so bad ... Very little wait if that
