I went to Doc's Cake Shop yesterday for a cake consult. I came in with a picture of the cake I wanted after waiting a considerable period of time before being seen. After showing the picture to the guy helping me and telling him the number of people I wanted to feed, I was quoted a price of $1120 for a cake feeding 80 people. I asked what the dimensions of the three layers would be, the man rudely interrupted me saying, "You will have to speak with the designer. He can tell you that." I asked how can you quote a price without providing details about the size of the cake? He said, "the price goes by the number of people the cake will feed." I thanked him and left. That makes no good sense at all! I have worked with other bakeries and always was provided with a sketch of the cake I wanted, the dimensions of each layer, what each layer would be made of and the fillings. This man was rude and unprofessional.
While Doc's cake is pretty good, this experience has made me reconsider patronizing this establishment in the future. Doc's do better‼️

Service is always great warm and inviting been a customer for almost a year now. I don't what's different but the last few visits the slices have been a little on the dry side.
Banana pudding (original & red velvet) have become my new faves.
The best, you can't go wrong always consistence. Fresh Cakes, staff is very respectful. Clean and neat, Owner Christopher is a great wonderful man, he's 100 percent on point. Thank you

Nice little bakery. They do not have a physical book for you to look at their cakes. You have to follow them on Instagram and do your search that way. But my experiment was great. I picked a cake and was forwarded a receipt via text message
I visited this bakery and, to be honest, I was disappointed. When I walked in and greeted the staff, I was met with complete silence. No greeting, no sign of hospitality. While I was looking at the display, no one even offered to help me choose – no “Hello” or “Would you like us to tell you about our desserts?” This would have been especially helpful since there were no price tags or names on the cakes in the display. Despite being the only customer and with plenty of staff present, they simply ignored me. Another strange thing – you can’t buy just one cupcake. They only sell them in packs of 6 or 12. In the end, because of such poor service, I didn’t buy anything. If the staff doesn’t care about customers, why should I spend my money there? The owner should seriously reconsider the quality of service – without politeness and a professional approach, there’s no reason to come back.
I got the lemon cake for my boyfriend’s birthday and everyone loved it. The banana pudding was so good

This was the place to go for deserts. Very disappointed. Tasted stale, dry and hard. I will not be going back. Definitely was not worth the drive. My friend got the Peach Cobbler and said it was horrible. No crust, she called it Sweet
