Honestly, I had better places. I tried so much to give this place a chance but the food is not that great, very dry

My husband and I visited for the first time and ordered the steak chimichanga and the grilled steak enchiladas. Both dishes were delicious, generous in portion, and full of flavor. The plates were served warm, which helped keep the food at the perfect temperature—especially appreciated during the winter. The service was excellent: respectful, kind, and attentive. The restaurant is clean and cozy, making for a very pleasant atmosphere. We will definitely be coming back. As a bonus, it’s located right by the subway entrance, which is incredibly convenient. We loved the experience!

The food is pretty good but the service is extremely slow- over 30 min to get food on a sunday afternoon.

A favorite neighborhood spot. Love their mole sauce. The ‘to go’ order of enchiladas usually lasts me 2 meals. If you visit with 3+ people the Margarita pitcher is a great deal, margs do come from the machine so not the best ever but great price + good times def recommend! Guac is super fresh
After reading some other reviews - service can be a bit slow if you show up right when it’s busy, maybe skip if in a big rush. Or just grab some salsa and chill. I love the staff. Re: being bland, maybe rice+beans but I eat them with lettuce, tomato, sour cream, love them. Mole is bomb. Guac can take extra seasoning depending on your taste, but still so good. Get a queso fundido to go with it. Good homemade chips+salsa.
Last tip : if you do get takeout and you eat sour cream, skip the side of sour cream there and go to Acatlán De Osorio bodega down the street and get a big la crema for $6 👌
Moved away four years ago and still miss it every day

Moved to the area 2 months ago and this is my go to “flavor” comfort food spot for the consistency and quality of ingredients especially the steak/chicken. Great pricing & the in-house salsa does the trick. Margs are solid and well price too! Really enjoy returning here. Wishing them many more years.

A nice restaurant that's been around for 20 years. The food is reasonably priced. The staff is friendly. Lots of options on the menu to choose from. My go-to order is the steak torta. Miguel the manager will take good care of you!
