Food was super tasty, fresh and affordable. The appetizers match well with the matcha beer, and service was great, as the atmosphere, very good without being pretentious.

We shared the yakatori sampler and the mini donburi set and it was perfect! We got to taste the variety and everything was great. Our favorite was the gyu don - it was delicious and we will be ordering a full bowl next time! Looking forward to coming back!

Beautiful spot in Brooklyn Heights serving gyudon and yakitori, or rice bowls and bite-sized grilled meat skewers. It's a very creative menu, I normally don't encounter Japanese food that looks like this, which makes me think this is authentic. It is also pleasantly filling!

A cute place and definitely recommendable if you're in the area and want to grab a bite, I had the Salmon don and it was really tasty, even came with a little blowtorch show 👍.

The most authentic Japanese food in New York, every bite was insanely delicious. Reasonable prices and portions. So much yummy flavors! The gunkan were my favorite with so many options and the thick men was the best noodle ever. Feeling so satisfied

I really enjoyed this place! It reminded me of being in Japan. The agedashi tofu was great along with the nigiri. I brought my laptop to work as well. On the weekdays it's not so busy so a great place to work. They also have a patio and big windows looking out to the street.

We came here to try dinner and absolutely loved it - a great variety of dishes ranging from rice bowls to hand rolls, ramen, and yakitori. Our favourite was the grilled eggplant. A very lovely and intimate atmosphere upstairs. Highly recommend!
