Wanted to try something new for our date and found a GEM! This cute little nook on the second floor is hard to catch but a MUST TRY! Their menu is a bit overwhelming at first but not once you figure out good matches😉 we tried a bit of everything to share; the thick men udon noodle soup with charsu, 2 pieces of unagi giant nigiri, & some of everything sashimi. Everything was delicious and tasted fresh! The decor and ambiance of the establishment was inviting and playful with the cool posters on the walls. Also, felt very spacious<3 Cannot express how lucky I feel to have found this place! They also have a lunch special!

Fabulous spot! One of the tastiest dons I’ve ever eaten! Lovely soft egg over beef and sweet onion perfectly prepared—wow! The onion was flavorful and still had tooth. The beef lightly marinated was tender and addictive after the first bite. The miso soup is way beyond the norm, with carefully prepared and slivered silken tofu, and fragrant miso. I give it my highest recommendation!

Went there for ramen specifically, and the texture of the ramen noodles reminded me of top ramen noodles which was interesting and a surprise but overall the ramen was good only the 2nd establishment I have been to in NYC for ramen, I will say I didn't have enough money to tip immediately so the waiter helped himself to a $7.50 tip 🙂 that alone will never make me visit here again, 20$ ramen + 12$ sashimi roll = 32$..so ending on a 40$ charge + 7.50 + tax = 51.52. All good plenty of other places to visit just going to make sure me and my friends avoid this spot in particular. The atmosphere was very pleasant the big windows overlooking the street while you eat was actually more entertaining than the 3 Japanese pop songs they had on repeat which started giving me a headache by the time I was done eating, would honestly prefer complete silence, the wooden chairs..where to begin. I would prefer a tatami mat sitting on the ground over those uncomfortable chairs.

Wowww this place is actually a gem. Came here with my bf for date night and it’s perfect. I love the vibe, the music is so good and vibey. The waiter was super friendly and we even get discount for being NYU student. They even gave us complimentary matcha icecream. The food portion is just nice, we got the Don buri set for $30 and they’re all so good. I love the variety that comes with it, it’s also so aesthetic.

Food was super tasty, fresh and affordable. The appetizers match well with the matcha beer, and service was great, as the atmosphere, very good without being pretentious.

We shared the yakatori sampler and the mini donburi set and it was perfect! We got to taste the variety and everything was great. Our favorite was the gyu don - it was delicious and we will be ordering a full bowl next time! Looking forward to coming back!

Beautiful spot in Brooklyn Heights serving gyudon and yakitori, or rice bowls and bite-sized grilled meat skewers. It's a very creative menu, I normally don't encounter Japanese food that looks like this, which makes me think this is authentic. It is also pleasantly filling!

A cute place and definitely recommendable if you're in the area and want to grab a bite, I had the Salmon don and it was really tasty, even came with a little blowtorch show 👍.

The most authentic Japanese food in New York, every bite was insanely delicious. Reasonable prices and portions. So much yummy flavors! The gunkan were my favorite with so many options and the thick men was the best noodle ever. Feeling so satisfied
