I would like to give a negative rating if I could. I just had the worst time ever at this restaurant – seriously, they're practically scamming their customers. The prices on the menu and what they hit you with at the end? Totally different, like not even close. And when you question about it, they just shrug it off, blaming some outdated menu, and you still gotta fork over the new crazy prices. A dish that is marked to be $18 ends up costing me a whopping $45. What about the ingredients !? Definitely not fresh. I specifically checked with the waitress before I ordered the chicken soup, asking if it was made fresh in its own pot. What shows up? Reheated broth, smelling like day-old chicken. There's this lingering taste of leftover chicken that makes it the nastiest soup I've ever had. This whole experience wasn't just a letdown. It made me sick. How come this business can survive?

Unpalatable, the actual price will be twice as expensive as what is written on the menu, and there is no prior explanation. Because it is an old menu, we will be dismissed if it has not been updated.

I highly recommend this Dapeng fried rice noodle. It is very good in terms of appearance, aroma and taste. The raw materials of the rice noodle are selected very well. It is the kind of rice noodle that is not powdery but has a good texture. The price is a bit expensive, but it’s nothing compared to the deliciousness. It’s worth it.

The service in this restaurant is so bad. I had to leave the room several times to find a table, and no one changed the plates. Also, the food delivery was too slow. It takes about half an hour to serve one dish. There are only two tables in the entire restaurant. I can understand it if it is busy, but I don't think so. I'm so busy. I usually tip more than 20%, so I'll give you 10% today. I won't eat here again!

Good and friendly service, but fish had too much flour on it so it was hard to chew. Other food was good

I have been coming here for years , the best oyster pancakes and chow mai fun 炒米粉 there is.I might add nice Dungeness crab dishes as well as Alaskan king crabs .And when I say this is NOT for the average American diners please also believes what I am saying , this place is as Fujian as can be as MOST customers are frequent diners and 自己友 ??.

To be honest, I haven’t eaten in Donghai for a long time. This time, because other restaurants were full, we didn’t make a reservation for 12 people, so we didn’t have a seat. Just by chance, a friend called and there were seats in Donghai! We came to Donghai immediately, and we also brought liquor✌️The waiter warmly entertained us, brought tea, peanuts and Fuzhou delicacies. Brother cakes????The dishes we ordered were all delicious, the plates were clear, and the chili sauce Shiluo ordered another plate, and it was all clean. Although he didn’t order any special seafood, the food was very satisfying and comfortable. I remember that we often visited Donghai many years ago, not long after it opened...
