Food great but update your time on your Google if your establishment is closed at 10:20 or 10:25pm instead of 11pm so other people won't waste their time on coming

So it’s Wednesday night in the city, and I’m just trying to enjoy a peaceful plate of sesame chicken at Double Dragon.

Then a man comes in looking like he had just lost a fistfight with a seagull. He was dragging—and I mean literally dragging a massive stingray across the greasy New York City sidewalk like it owed him money. Not in a cooler. Not in a tank.
Just raw-dogging the concrete with a sea creature that looked like it had unfinished business in the Atlantic.

He strolls in like this is totally normal. As he is taking the stingray towards the back, the stingray makes eye contact with me. Not like a, “Hey, there,” kind of glance. I mean soul-gazing, time-stopping, “I know your credit score and the moment you stopped believing in yourself in the 7th grade” kind of stare. It saw everything. My traumas. My browsing history and the exact moment my dog started to resent me.

I turned to the guy at the next table; a regular, apparently and whispered, “Is this... normal?”
He didn’t even look up from his egg roll. Just muttered, “Better than the time someone brought in a pelican.”

And I swear the chef just nodded, and lead the way towards the back where the stingray was planted on to the sink of Double Dragon. The chef smiles and says “This go good with garlic.”

Anyway, the food? Absolutely slapped.
The dumplings were juicy.
The egg drop soup fixed three of my unresolved emotional issues.

If you’re looking for dinner and an unsupervised nature documentary shot on the gritty streets of NYC
Double Dragon is your spot.

11/10, would let the stingray read my aura again.

Came in for dumplings, left questioning reality. As I’m sipping my hot & sour soup, a man drags a prehistoric stingray the size of a Honda Civic through the front door like it was just another Tuesday. Thing had barnacles, glowing eyes, and might’ve whispered in Latin. Chef didn’t even flinch just nodded and said Ah, fresh delivery.

The stingray slapped the floor like a wet tarp full of secrets. A kid tried to pet it and saw visions of Atlantis.

Anyway, the orange chicken was crispy, and I think I’m cursed now. See y’all next week
