I was really excited to revisit Donut Plant after not visiting for a few years. The donuts looked fantastic and tasted even better. You can tell a lot of care goes into their creations. The flavors were rich, fresh, and def lived up to the hype. Unfortunately, the experience was brought down by the service. The cashier had a standoffish demeanor, barely spoke, and made it feel like we were bothering her just by asking questions. She slammed the bag of donuts on the counter without a word, and overall came across as cold, blah and unprofessional. It definitely took away from what could have been a great visit/ reintroduction to this place. So honestly, Great products but customer service matters just as much. I hope management takes note, because the donuts deserve better representation at the front counter. Idk maybe She was having a bad day 🤷🏾♀️

This place has good donuts—don't get me wrong, but I have a nut allergy.
I'm okay with traces of nuts, but that isn't the issue at hand either. I go in, and there's a chocolate chip cookie donut. On there there are white specs which I thought were some sort of powder or cookie, but turns out it's PECAN?!
A day later after getting them, I have the cookie donut and start getting a reaction. Urgently I check the website? Nothing. Obviously I don't have enough time so I have to do an ai search to find it which is how I found out. Felt terrible for the entire day. (I only had 1 small bite keep in mind.)
The only thing I wish is that those allergens were put on display. I know I could've asked, but with something as simple as a chocolate chip cookie, I didn't think it would make me sick. Partially my bad yeah, but PLLEEEEEEEASSSEEE make sure you ask about the allergens and don't do what I do. I still believe those allergens should be listed though, which is why I only put 3 stars.
If you don't have any allergies, THE DONUTS ARE FIRE GO GET THEM!!

Happy to report that the vegan glazed apple doughnuts are delicious. This location is 5 miles away from me and the doughnuts are $5 each which are probably good things for my health and my budget.

This place was so yummy. Guy was nice and let us try the tres leche for cold brew. Vanilla donut and coffee cake donut were both out of this world! Loved the latte too:)

2025, update: my original review continues to hold. Amazing donuts, upgraded variety of beverages - tres leches coffee! - and the usual, wonderful chai. Original review: On a particularly busy Monday morning, I stopped by for a chai. The staff, as usual, was welcoming. The chai came form a special kettle, was kept at the perfect temperature, and made with the right amount of tea and spices. It was also poured with such care. I cannot recommend the Doughnut Plant enough, not only for their delicious doughnuts, but also for the quality they put on everything their offer.
