Straight running belly if you from the islands you know what I mean, I suspect they fried the fish and serve even though they knew it was spoiled. The festivals were also horrible.

I'm sad to see all these reviews being one star, I just checked out this place and was hyped by the sign alone. My friend ordered the porrage and I got the meal. I was STARVING so I decided to just get an entire meal. The fried chicken was seasoned well and delicious. The rice was great and I had no issue with the steamed cabbage. Today musta been a lucky day for me cause I didn't have a bad experience but I did go in early, like 11am early. But I would go back again just for the fried chicken though.

Always one person In front as a delivery person I always have to wait long for my order then they act like they have no clue when it comes in avoid this place as customer or delivery person horrible

Used to be such a staple in the neighborhood but has definitely gone down the drain over the years. Customer service is mediocre but the food doesn't make up for what they lack in that area Cons:-Doesn't offer a small sizing for ANY meal, only medium and large no matter what you get -Very stingy with their portions and will try and argue that it's good portions if you complain (usually like 4 mini pieces of meat for a medium, 6 mini pieces for a large) -Stingy with their gravy, practically have to beg for more -Stew chicken is very dry and bland -Mac & cheese is not good-Rice and peas not good either -They don't cook steamed cabbage/steamed vegetables, only offer regular salad now -They don't cook sweet plantain either Pros:Oxtail is pretty good Famous Fried Chicken with sauce is really good as well

Unfortunately the j*** chicken I ordered wasn't up to my standards. This chicken is just burnt baked chicken and very dry. Tasted nothing like j*** chicken. I paid for extra sauce which wasn't worth the extra $0.75. I'm extremely disappointed with this chicken and I'm looking for a full refund from Uber eats. If you're looking for authentic j*** chicken don't waste money or time on this place... 2 thumbs down!!!

I ordered 2 fry dumplings with liver Gravy , that came up to $1.50 I gave her $2.00 and this is the change she gave me! I'm not that good in math lol but I'm sure I supposed to get back $.50 not $.25 Lml

They didn’t send me the right soup and the soup that they did send had hair in it! FUKEN HAIR!!! I will NEVER recommend this place to ANYONE!!!!!
the things i've ordered so far (ackee and saltfish and red peas soup) were good. my only issue is that they do not follow instructions- i ordered red peas and chicken soup i got 2 red peas. i ordered 2 ackee and saltfish- 1 with boil dumpling and 1 with fried. i get two with boil dumpling. its really annoying man. thats the reason they get two stars from me. and the fact that i ordered from doordash and the food order is printed out and they still get it wrong.

I love this place! They serve first-cleass meals, they have a rich menu, The chief cook in that restaurant is very trained, I like a lot tasting all their food. The food is consistently fresh and tasty, the attitude towards the visitors is very good too. I go often to this place and I not even once was unsatisfied. I recommend it with no hesitation.

Their oxtail has room for growth. The oxtails were not tender, you can taste the ketchup on it. But the fried chicken and j*** chicken was really good! I would go back for that m.
