Burger and fries are consistently great. I like that they don't add any over-the-top ingredients or portions that I feel some burger places use as a schtick. Service is prompt and courteous. The stools and narrow plank tables are minorly uncomfortable but I'm just visiting. Probably not easy to post up with a stroller.

Got a burger and fries after seeing so many good reviews. It comes off as a classic pub burger place but was disappointing. Fries were all soggy and flavorless. The burger was way smaller than expected. Asked for it cooked medium, when biting into it was rare, raw and cold in the middle, had to cook the patty at home.

I’ve heard nothing but stellar things about this place for years so on a Saturday around lunchtime I found myself nearby and wanted a burger. I got a burger, and it was the most lackluster burger I’ve had all year. Pickles were bitter, onions rings undercooked and dripping in oil, and the ranch tasted like it has been around awhile. All in all I just wasn’t impressed. When you have so many other burger spots in brooklyn and especially in the burg, this one failed immensely. The place fees a tad bit dirty as well. Maybe another time. But today I was let down after so much hype

Don’t be fooled, nothing like you remember. Paid extra for the larger patty, was still tiny. Fries were cold and unseasoned. Signature salad was missing Haricots Verts and Bacon, had a minuscule amount of blue cheese and enough dressing for 1/5th of the salad. So many better options for less money, don’t bother.
One of the best burgers in Brooklyn. Thick, juicy burgers cooked exactly how you want it. The sides are delicious and plentiful.
I typically get the regular DuMont Burger, the smaller size, with onion rings and maybe soup if they have tomato that day. The DuMac and cheese burger is a good way to get a bit of the good stuff without buying a full order of the Mac. Smash burgers are on trend right now, and I don’t understand that. I love a thick burger, and I order medium rare because I am confident in the quality of their food.
