A friend once told me that walking into a Dunkin’ Donuts is like hooking up with your high school sweetheart years later. The memories are there, the shape is familiar, but the magic? Long gone. I can’t say I’ve aged much better myself, but he’s right—and the one a block from the Q train on Avenue U isn’t doing much to challenge the theory.
The place is clean, the staff efficient, but there’s all the warmth of an ATM transaction. I’ve had more human connection buying MetroCard refills. Ordered tuna on a bagel—except what arrived wasn’t a bagel. It was bread with a hole in it, an imposter in a city that knows better. The tuna? Passable. Edible. Nothing I’d ever crave. The iced black tea alongside it was just as committed to mediocrity.
If you’re wandering Avenue U and need something to fill your stomach, sure—the lights will be on, the doors open. Just don’t expect anything more than that.

Please 🙏 please 🙏 please 🙏 for all customers, we pledge you all to boycott this store, suddenly and without any reason the owner decided to fire all non Pakistani employees and terminated them because of their origin nationality. just because the owner himself and General manager originally from Pakistan 🇵🇰 suddenly decided to kick out employees who are not from Pakistan and let them face unfair unemployment . we ask you all to stand against racism and discrimination and show solidarity with us. I ordered to pick up one dozen donuts and they are put in my order old donuts taste very old hard and not fresh I’m so sad with this purchase ! Please next time be respectful to another person who believed you and do not sell old not fresh donuts !!!!

Burn my milk every time I buy there ! Be careful not to burn yourself cause they over working there less stuff and 3rd time I get got cappuccinos. And burn my tongue or my mouth shame !!
Service is terrible. I asked for coffee with oat milk and sugar. The cashier didn’t ring the sugar up on the register (I later had to just add it in myself) and it did not look or taste as if it had oat milk. I went to the person who made my drink to address my issue and she said “yes it has oat milk” even after looking at my coffee that clearly had no milk. Usually when I go into this Dunkin’ I’ve never had an issue and would usually say that this is the best one compared to the others I’ve been to. I’m really disappointed :(

By far the worst Dunkin' I've been to. There were 6 cockroaches, and none of the two employees didn't care; one of them took off his shoe and then killed one of the roaches; god damn, good riddance.

Staff was horrible. They were laughing at me while I was ordering. I addressed it and they just pretended they dint understand me. Was very uncomfortable I just had issues expressing what I want. No reason to laugh.

The service was horrible. When I walked in I greeted the worker by saying "good morning". And she did not respond and just stood there. Then I started ordering and when I said "Can I get a nitro cold brew and a tuna melt sandwich", she said in a nasty tone "we do not have nitro" It was on me that I said nitro but she could have corrected me nicer. I finally got my order then I walked out. I tasted my coffee and it was too light and milky so I went back inside. The worker snatched the coffee away from me and gave me a dirty look. She then proceeded to fix it and when my drink was fixed she said "Here." I then walked home and ate my "tuna melt" but in reality she just made me a tuna sandwich.There was no cheese.

This place just keeps down grading. The refreshers just straight up taste like water after a few sips. The doughnuts are dry and overall I don’t like this place anymore. Plus the prices are very high although the food you get is not good.
