May 2014, a bartender here found a scared kitten on the patio, picked him up and rushed him to the vet a few blocks down on Franklin Avenue. My husband walked into the vet as this bartender was saying “I just found him on the patio—I’m on shift; I’ve got to get back...” and left the little guy with the vets.
The vets, with a kitten in their hands, turned to my husband and asked, “Uhhh, you want a kitten?”
