Love this bar. Hadn’t been back in a while. It was a cold night and who wouldn’t want to sit around the fire? I would have given 4 or 5 stars but they used a maraschino cherry in my Manhattan. Why not a Luxardo? Disappointing.
Love. Reasonably priced drinks, cute wood fired stove in the back, very dimly lit but in a cute way. Lovely secret tiny back patio as well. Would totallly take a first date here if I lived in Brooklyn. Also wonderful backstory if you look up why the place serves cake.
