I was excited to dine here, but was really disappointed. Food is nowhere near as good as it should be for these prices. Portions are small and cheese was moldy. You can't serve good Polish food if your kitchen staff is from Mexico.
Great service, even better food. Very well priced as well, 100% will be back.
Steak Tartar. Steak Tartar. Steak Tartar. And burger options. But steak tartar, steak tartar, steak tartar.Polish Ameican infused food.Try Kielbasa (Polish Sausage) also. But steak tartar. Steak tartar. Steak Tartar.
I loved the food. It was excellent and plenty of it at a good price. The service was out standing!
Top shelf margaritas on point. I had the steak ? it was top tier. The service was on point. The waitress was sweet. The ambiance was dope. The inside was a whole mood. Definitely will go back.
Delicious pierogies, we also loved the goat cheese salad, and plum balls. The prices are fair for the high quality of food and experience. The staff was accommodating and helpful with the menu. The polish plate was great. Will definitely be back
Be aware- the prices on the menu differ from the bill they bring you! I ordered chefs pierogies -$12 and draft beer- $7 (the prices are from the menu and you can check it online), but the waitress brought me a bill for $13 and $8. After I told her it’s wrong she insisted it’s not. I don’t know what kind of scam they are running, but I don’t advise anyone to go there.
My favorite Polish restaurant in the city! This is the only place that serves pierogies like my great grandma used to make. The vegetarian stuffed cabbage is tasty & my aunt loves the traditional one with meat which she says is perfectly moist & well-sized.
It was a nice Polish restaurant located in Brooklyn (downtown?). I couldn’t tell if these dishes was authentic but they were quite similar to the Germany food I had in other places. It did take some time to get our food served and different dishes tasted quite differently. The taste was generally light, not too salty, oily or creamy. All of them were in large portions. One thing to notice was that, they directly added 20% tip to the bill and still asked for tips when signing the bill without any reminders.
The worst Polish food we’ve tasted in the area - no exaggeration. Came here after seeing good reviews only to see this pasted on the front door (see photo). We ignored it - big mistake. From what we understand, the main chef was excellent but is no longer working there, which maybe explains how such a questionably run place has such good reviews. I’ve worked in food service for many years and very much empathize with those who do, so I generally avoid complaining at all. On those rare instances where I feel I have to, I always try to approach things tactfully. That said, the waitress was immediately combative, complained (in Polish) that we didn’t know Polish food, and called us rude and aggressive for suggesting otherwise - which was awkward because we are Polish and understood all the bad-mouthing. Overall just a really uncomfortable and unfortunate outing for us. Karczma or Polka Dot in Greenpoint both cost less money and offer a much better dining experience.

DO NOT EAT OR DRINK HERE! I’ve never written a review before but I had too after my experience tonight. While my family and I were eating, the owner of the restaurant (bald man), who was sitting at the bar, attacked another man, who was sitting with him. He punched him for about a minute in the face before the guy fell to the floor. He then proceeded to kick him in the face for another minute. There was blood everywhere and we immediately lost our appetite. He then shouted at the man that “he’d stab him in the neck”. We all got up and quickly left. The police luckily were immediately called. I’ve eaten at many restaurants before but I have never experienced something like that. I would advise anyone not to eat here after experiencing such an episode.
Fantastic place to have meals. We celebrated my birthday here.Great selection for dinner and drinks.Grilled Salmon and beef were so good and great volume. We had soooo great time here. Strongly recommend this place to all of the tourists.
Easily some of the best polish food I have had In the area. So much seating available inside and outside with friendly service and ownership. I went for the beef tartare to start which should be shared by two people as it will fill you up. Sauerkraut and mushroom boiled Pierogies were incredibleCan’t wait to return
Wow what an Excellent Polish restaurant. Authentic Polish food with a great mix of American favorites! Great cocktails and a super friendly staff!
Food and service were great. Love the Mac and cheese pierogis! The veal in horseradish sauce was also super good.
