My bf eats here every week and raves about their veggie burger and how freshly made it is. I’m not a veggie burger person but I tried it and enjoyed it! I really like their flat bread and veggie biryani!
If you're looking for a laid-back spot with killer vegan food in Park Slope, Brooklyn, you’ve got to check out Earthen Vegan. This place is all about great flavors and a chill vibe.
Start with the Smashed Potatoes. They’re crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and super tasty. For the main course, try the Chana Masala. It’s chickpeas cooked in a delicious tomato and onion gravy, served with basmati rice and pita – pure comfort food. Another winner is the Quinoa Curry Bowl, packed with veggies and a creamy coconut curry that’s just right.
If you're into burgers, their Earthen Burger is a must. It’s a bean and quinoa patty loaded with vegan cheddar, guac, and chipotle aioli. For something a bit more unique, go for the Vegan 'Halal Cart' Saffron Rice. It comes with either fried lion’s mane mushrooms or falafel, plus a yummy cashew cream sauce that hits all the right notes.
The atmosphere at Earthen Vegan is cozy and relaxed – perfect for a casual meal with friends or a laid-back date night. The staff is friendly and always ready to help with recommendations.
Earthen Vegan doesn’t just serve amazing food; they’re also committed to sustainability, using organic and cruelty-free ingredients. Whether you’re a dedicated vegan or just curious, Earthen Vegan is a spot you don’t want to miss.

My friends and I were baffled by how this restaurant has such high ratings. The food is extremely disappointing, and being Indian-specific, all of our dishes were shocking bland and completely uninspired. The service and dining experience was unorganized and at times oblivious.

What a gem of a place. Lovely people running it and they have a unique menu that’s very well executed. Somehow it’s authentic and innovative in equal measures. We loved the cauliflower, uttapam and burger. And the drinks are great too - again with a nod to India but with their own take. Oh and the courtyard. So calm and beautiful.

Vegetarian options: This is the perfect place for vegetarian and vegan lovers! Everything on the menu is vegan and so delicious! My favourite is Philly cheesesteak and biryani.
Kid-friendliness: This place has high chairs for kids
Earthen is a gem and are lucky to have it here. Excellent menu and kind staff. The specials are often great as well so there’s always something new to try.
The Chana masala was delicious. They only gave 2 small pieces of lions mane in my “chicken & rice”. For $20 I expected more lions mane and not so much rice. The fried potatoes were good but they forgot to give me the aioli on the side. They also forgot my chocolate chip cookie so I lost $5. Not too impressed. The staff is friendly though.

Everything we got was just lackluster and not very flavorful. I hate to give a poor review of an all-vegan place but I was really unimpressed and can’t in good conscience recommend Earthen. Honestly this is the kind of place your Omni friends are referencing when they say, “Oh yeah, I tried vegan food once and it was pretty boring.” Not bad, but not good either. Overall just kinda meh.
The food was great , I truly loved everything I ate . But the Philly was my favorite ❤️

We got the waffles, salad, and samosas. Everything was very good. I especially liked the waffles.
Good selection of food, and has soy free options on the menu.

Not only if the food absolutely incredible (I especially love the samosas and cauliflower wings and can’t wait to try more!), the people here go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and cared for in a way that makes the whole experience even better. They also have a beautiful patio so awesome in warm weather and for Covid safety. It’s a truly special place and I can’t wait to go back again soon!!
Vegetarian options: One of the best vegetarian places I’ve been too—quinoa based, mushroom based, alternative meat—so many different kinds of substitutes that taste amazing :)

We tried their new Indian menu for Lunch, it was amazing. We hadn’t plan on eating Indian food and we were wonderfully surprised. So many flavors, home-made, alive, healthy food and very nice service. Also very affordable. Thank you !!
