great pastries but terrible service. The women is extremely slow. I was the first in line for 10 minutes. They need at least 2 people working the front because the food is too good for this poor of service.

I don’t think Ive ever written a bad review. I ordered a simple egg and Swiss on a croissant and a large chai. Was told she was out of croissants but there was an entire box of them to the right back of the counter. I went with the bagel. THIRTY mins later I nor the sole other customer waiting on their item received anything. The girl behind the counter at 10am ish seemed disoriented and totally frazzled. She was incredibly rude and I had to tell her to make my food before she took another customer. When I received my chai it was a medium and 3/4 way full. Then my sandwich didn’t have Swiss and had bacon. Considering I don’t eat bacon I had to throw the entire sandwich away. I never ordered that! If you can’t handle multitasking then maybe you should not be working customer service behind the counter OR someone else should be working with you.

Gone downhill... I went in the other day for a breakfast sandwich and a pastry. The older Asian woman behind the counter was the only one there that day, but I was also the only customer there so I don't know how this happened. I got home and opened the box and saw that every bit of the sandwich was burnt. I'm not sure why she gave it to me anyway once seeing it, and especially since their prices are so exorbitant - my order was almost $20...for a burnt sandwich... I've been having less great experiences than normal with them this year, but this is the last time I'll go. My goodness.

The cashier was extremely rude and impolite. Was my first time at this place and would not come back here again.

A nice bakery with big selection of gluten free and vegan pastries. The chocolate macaroon was very delicious, good amount of nuts, but a bit too sugary for my taste. The matcha was so so, lots of crumbs, need a better job of breaking them and whipping when preparing.

Been a long time since I had croissants as good as these. Both regular and almond. Outstanding!

Older Asian lady behind the register is gruff and curt. It's as if customers are an inconvenience to her or, worse, a nuisance. My experience is similar to that of another Yelper. Also, this place needs to spend the extra money on proper-fitting cups and lids for its coffee so the contents don't spill as you handle your hot drink. The older Asian lady did warn customers about it (clearly not her fault if she's not in charge of ordering consumables). Croissants and brownies are good. I get that small neighborhood employers may have trouble attracting and retaining staff these days so I'm just hoping my next visit will be better!

I've been getting the turkey club here about once a week, and they made it to order, and it was great. They've stopped making anything to order and transitioned completely to grab-n-go. V frustrating.

Generously donated a few hundred delicious cookies to our Trauma Center during the height of COVID. Smiles on faces that weren't smiling much for months. Will be returning to them this month for an order for our Bronx EMS providers during National EMS Week. Thank you Ebb & Flow!

If you are allergic to nuts be careful about what you order here. I ordered a G-F flourless cookie (that's what the sign said) and it had walnuts. It is 2022 and the bakery should be transparent about such known allergens. Luckily, I merely detest walnuts so no great harm done: just an unfortunate $4 spent.

Unfriendly Service. There is an older Asian woman that works here that doesn't greet patrons and has an agressive nature. She seems to be the only one working there which is highly unfortunate. Claims to be the manager which I find highly unlikely. A manager would be more gracious and employ a greater attention to detail working in hospitality. She's clearly miserable at her job and feels that customers should get the brunt of her misery. As I was relaxing sipping on my coffee, she proceeded to pace back and forth frenetically and start obnoxiously making loud banging noises while my little one was napping. When I went to exit the café, she blocked my path with a huge cart. As she saw me standing there, she just looked at me an proceeded to continue what she was doing.Luckily, there was a lovely young woman who moved the cart for me so that I could get through with my stroller. Lastly, sees me struggling to exit the premises and doesn't even propose to help with the door. This 'manager' needs a better disposition and some serious training in hospitality. Don't waste your time or money!

Food was okay. Lady that took our order at the cashier was rude from the start for no reason. Didn’t get her name but she has black hair and is a middle aged woman.

I'm recommending with reservations. Service was punchy and rushed. It's definitely a focus on grab and GO. The bakery items were good but pricey. An almond croissant was$5 and a dry slice of orange bundt cake was $4. There isn't much choice in that area in the winter, so we were grateful to find a place open.
