Edo Reviews
I often dine here . There are many ‘highly-rated’ Japanese restaurants in a ten block radius… I’ve tried them all. But for the price, quality and freshness of seafood, Edo is tops. The menu has many options from appetizers, sushi, sashimi, omakase & Asian food Plus the sake & beer options compliment the authentic cuisine. The well-informed staff are attentive & fun. You will have a great dinner & great evening here. Manager Eric is such an interesting person. Recommend.........👍👍👍👍👍

Edo is a hidden gem located in the Gravesend section of Brooklyn on Coney Island Avenue, offering amazing special rolls like My Lady, Dark Knight, and SoHo. Chef Eric ensures a great sushi experience with fresh ingredients in the 3 roll Sushi lunch combo. The restaurant prepares Japanese cuisine, including soups, salads, sushi, sashimi, hibachi, poke bowls, and various entrees. While the tuna was in bits, the miso soup was delicious, and the Tom yum soup is noted for being rich and tasty. The house salad was disappointing, with a mix of various veggies, but saved by a tasty dressing. The mixed poke bowl features tuna, salmon, avocado, corn, jalapeno peppers, cucumber, fried onion, and nori over sushi rice. Customers find the rolls well-prepared and the food very good overall. Edo is recommended for its sushi, service, and friendly staff who are always ready to refill beverages.
