very solid takeout. great neighborhood spot and always very reliable. the people who work there are super nice too!
I’ve been coming here for 3+ years now and have never had a bad burrito. Incredibly welcoming staff! If you’re not adding the chipotle or diablo hot sauces, you are missing out big time. Very hard for me to pick anywhere else for lunch.
The Shrimp tacos are soooo good
haven’t tried anything else yet 😅
Reasonable spot. Portions are small and prices are kinda expensive for burrito/bowl. Expect most of it to be beans rice and corn. I added jalepenos as an option in my bowl and literally got a slice of it. They are definitely skimping but it’s tasty. Anymore expensive than $13-15 and you might as well go somewhere else
11/10 burrito id come here everyday if i could
Used to live in the neighborhood and eat this burrito all the time. Has the option of veggies, tofu, vegan ribs and impossible meat. Also has tofu sour cream!! Some dessert options as well! Updated from previous review on 2025-04-20
Second time here. The rice kind of blows, it’s pretty flavorless, and as other comments noted they really fill the burrito with the rice. Our order was messed up twice. I would however come back and try a burrito with no rice or lettuce, because their meats and salsas are pretty solid.
Placed an order for pickup and went in to get it. Was greeted by the guy at the counter, and I said hello back. I started to explain I was there to pickup an order, when I saw my name on a bag in the heating box on the customers side of the counter. Reached in and grabbed my order to then immediately be berated for no less than 30 seconds on my mistake of opening the heating box. Was pressed on why I don’t read signs (one label on the top corner saying not to open the box), questioned on whether I have my OSHA food certification, and questioned about my spacial awareness. He then said seeya as I walked out, as if I would ever step foot in the place again. Whoever was working the counter should not be in the hospitality industry as they are the least bit hospitable. Food has been barely serviceable both times I have ordered from here. I tipped ahead of time just to be demeaned.
Disappointing!
Not bad. Don't expect to get your Mexican fix. The queso is more akin to the jarred stuff.

The staff were exceptionally friendly, and my steak quesadilla order was outstanding, bursting with flavor. When I requested sour cream, they generously provided a combination of sour cream and fresh guacamole, which elevated the dish to perfection.

First time was good, second time I noticed they pre-make the burritos and leave em in the fridge. Hence the weird cold spots in mine. Big mistake, no good.
First burrito I had in NY. Turns out this was ~literally~ the Best tex mex vegan short rib burrito I've ever had. So I will be ordering delivery soon.
If you're going to charge $18 for a burrito, don't skimp.

This was really disappointing for a $15 burrito. I ordered the chicken bay burrito and it was cooked pretty quickly, in about 5 minutes. But when I started eating it, I noticed the avocado was spoiled and bitter. The burrito was like 80% rice and no flavor even though I added hot sauce and jalapeños. It’s a never again for me.
